Update 5: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Update 4: Victoria,
Done! the magic of the gods has brought snow to cool all deer (on this day that is probably too hot for many.)
thanks again Unplugged you’ve made our week bright with your kindness and creativity!
Au-
Update 3: Thank you, Victoria. This is amazing. We're overwhelmed that you organized this wonderful event. Such a beautiful idea. And thank you for the donation. It's really helpful!
Michaël & Auriea.
Thank you too M&A for creating such a wonderful game
Update 2: The donation has been made.

The event is now over.
And so this week is coming to a close.
I would like to give my most heartfelt thank you to everyone here in the community who contributed and created so much amazing artwork and incredible writing to give their thanks to The Endless Forest. Together we raised 357.50€. That's about 483$. Let that sink in for a minute. That is an incredible amount of money.
I am very delighted to see that so many of you were so eager to participate. This would not have been possible had it not been for every single one of you. It is beautiful to see all this creativity come together in one place.
Even though the community has its difficulties, this shows that we can come together as one and create something beautiful ♥ Thank you so much everyone. It's been a blast. I hope everyone enjoyed this week.
I need to transfer the money over to paypal first which should take ~2 days. I will post a screenshot of the donation as soon as it goes through.
Look at the beautiful tree you created ♥
TOTAL RAISED:
357.50 €
What is this about?
Since I managed to save up a good amount of money, I thought I would put some of it to good use and involve you, the community, in it too.
The premise is simple: For every piece of artwork you create, I will donate 5€ to The Endless Forest. Now is your chance to support TEF if you're unable to do so otherwise.
This event will run from Sunday, July 13th to Sunday, July 20th. So you have one week. At the end of the week I will send the total amount that we raised together to M&A. (to avoid spamming them with a bunch of small donations.)
I hope you guys have fun, and I hope to see a lot of wonderful artwork and writings for the forest!

Bonus Event!
If you want to help out even more, these extra bonus events might be for you. The money raised here will not count towards the regular 10€ limit. You may submit one decoration and one haiku. For each decoration and for each haiku I will donate an additional 2.50€. This means each individual has the opportunity to donate up to 15€. This challenge will be open until the end of the main event.
Decorate the tree
A single young tree in a clearing. Its branches are thin and fragile. It looks dead, yet little leaves are beginning to sprout.
Add a decoration to the tree. It can be whatever you want -- Feathers, flowers, an animal skull... a little personal gift from you or your deer. Me and ben have given it one of our feathers.
Click the image for full-size. Save it on your PC, open it in your art program and add your decoration. The next person will continue from your decoration.
((There may or may not be a little surprise waiting at the end of this bonus challenge. The result is influenced by the outcome of the tree.))

Write a HaikuA mysterious parchment lies next to the tree. It seems empty, but as you look closer, words seem to reveal themselves...
Write a simple Haiku pertaining to an aspect of the forest. It can be about anything you want, be it the whole forest, one of its residents, or a small detail.

Slowly I was getting used to the return of thrill. I was getting old, and at the same time I was not. Many of my peers around me have experienced what could I only put my deepest hopes in. But the things were nearing the right direction.
Endless bliss of sunlight, no matter what moment in time it were, could sound like a great blessing, but after a few months it can get as bothersome as when one tries to sleep during the time of dawning. Not that I would rant. I do not own a right to do so, given such a precious thing that life alone is. But I missed my days.
The days when I was young. Ah, I shall be young forever, my bad. I mean, thou, much younger than I am at the moment. Ah, as much as these moments make me feel embarassed of my own, they make me laugh as well. It was not my fault, as we all evolve, and we all end up hating our younger selves at one point. My gift has made a return. The blue darkness and oddly stale air heated up from the sun endlessly present before. Sensation of blurred light and shadow when only flames, some of regular sizes, some more than intimidating made it clear as if it were daytime along with most certainly oversized mushrooms that bloomed all over the area had me as more hungry for another experience as more they were far away, and as more the possiblity they won't return grew. At the same time, it was dissolving. But oh, it was so blurred. I perhaps speak against myself, but I could not read it anyway.
After what seemed to be an endless desert, it came back. I have seen the Twilight, but mainly, I have experienced the stinging cold of October fog, the noise and density of running crowds and mainly I have had the chance to interact with the Big Zombie Deer himself. Getting a dead pelt over my soul was, as much as I wished for it, a horrifying experience at first. But after finding out what something so far more than alien to me was I was satisified and proud of myself for I have actually managed to hunt it down. One can get used to being an undead deer as much as being an alive one, plus it can be reversed back at any time. That's just the nature of our magic, but I bet you know well what do I mean.
My objects were done. I have seen weather changes, I have met the Deer and I have gotten these rare items thrown on my very existence. I wasn't wishing for anything else. Oh wait, I would lie to you. I was, but it was as unexcepted and faint that it was as if I was not.
I was satisified.
But then a day came. It started more than fine; sunlight bliss, as if nothing even happened at all before. To my luck I have, at least, found a group of familiar ones to hang out with. I should not say that, but when there is no one to share moments with, this life gets quite boring, even if a special weather takes place.
We were playing just by the Ruins, when the air began to quickly change.
And then, the bliss was no more. Instead I was getting deaf to anything but the thundering of the rain drops falling all over the Forest, including my skeleton pelted back. Cold sensation.
Luckily my face was just fine, being covered with the scary skull mask that I finally had the chance to obtain.
I blinked, and to my amazement, the mushrooms I saw last time as a little kid were all over the Forest.
I could have been more aware. I knew they were watching somehow, but more than that, no one could prepare me for what was next.
With happiness reaching extreme levels I ran to the Statues to bow. I thought this will do, but to my surprise, no one was around. I looked all around myself, not a single being was there. Did they shelter themselves from the rain somewhere? No. I would have felt it.
The area was dead.
As I have focused on sensing the presences of another glowing halos in my land, something told me to head to the Birch. An strong aura, as if someone had gone there. But for what? I could really go and take a look.
With devout glow following me I ran there, suddently getting pushed by the density and noise the huge crowd of most likely every existence present made as I was joining their as if automated doing. And then a sound I have never heard before, an unique metallic resonance sent a chill down my already cold spine.
I could have looked before my self sooner, because She was there.
Oh yeah, that's right. Her body of a size no one could ever reach was busy spinning all around as She gave rare masks to anyone who dared to come too close, masks they could have gotten only from the willing God Deer, oh God Deer in all their ways, and no one else.
With the whole sensation blurred significantly with my bursting happines I became selfish and tried to get myself as close to Her as possible - oh, it was more or less hard throught all the crowd - only to be the last one to get a mask. I have gotten a blue one and even got nuzzled by the imposing existence as I bowed my head down and deep.
And now I lay there, in an alone place, only you and me. As if blinding noise of millions of rain drops mercilessly hitting anything they can throught the gloom of the rainy day, repeatedly leaking all over my existence again and again. But my body burns, although I do nothing.
For I have gotten what I wanted. I do not lie to you, now.
The awesome experience violently rejects any trace of leaving my mind and I can still see, hear and possibly even feel all the amazing effects that I was present for. Flowers claiming a huge area along with growing grass. Fireworks of flowers. Hundreds of fireflies of devout glow. Walking, so much walking in the walks of joy. Pastel colored bubbles as if of paradise itself covering the Statues.
And now I lay there, with you, the mask being seemingly the only sign of me experiencing my first Abiogenesis.
This is a great idea. Might
