Has met a new face in the past few days- Nhoz, whom she feels quite close to for reasons she suspects are the doe's pregnancy. Also loving all over Jude. ... After losing her antlers, felt incapacitated in combat. Over time learned to improve with what she had and should not be underestimated, though could obviously never compare to some who are larger and stronger. ≬ Uses mainly her head and forelegs to cut into and puncture opponents. Finds it difficult to position her antlers to inflict substantial cuts to others, but if the occasion comes can push and pull her tines into more sensitive areas and bring them upwards to create a gash. ≬ Harbours strength in her back legs and her push can have ample force to unbalance others. Muscled and agile, can handle her weight with ease. Quick on her feet. ≬ Uses her cunning and speed to dodge attacks and provoke exhaustion in an opponent, though isn't very well coordinated in this and sometimes does not manage to escape a hit in ample time. ≬ Weaknesses are obvious- size and lack of proper antlers. Therefore, can only take on others who are slightly smaller/her own size. Could possibly injure a larger creature if they were being distracted by an ally. Useless set of teeth. If hit with a strong enough force, could easily fall very soon in a skirmish from pain. Does not do well with coping with pain, and her threshold for it is relatively low. Silent, Often chooses to be the quiet one in a group conversation, and only sometimes speaks without being first spoken to. Observant, As per her feral instincts, often spends a significant amount of time assessing either a person or situation before engaging. Tends to pick up on quiet noises quicker than others as well. Somber, Can be overly melancholic and drowsy in her tired states. One of her main hobbies is resting in the heat and listening to the forest. Often on another plane of thought. Gentle, Never raises her voice or provokes violence needlessly, and moves with poise and care. Treats others carefully, never touching or doing actions with more than a small amount of force. Distant, Finds it difficult to connect to others emotionally and see their side of the story. Becomes enveloped in her own emotions too much. Though this is not to say that she does not have empathy- instead, simply cannot create emotional connections with ease. Irrational, Has an inability to consider the future, thus makes many decisions without enough reasoning behind them. Acts in the moment and solely in the moment without considering how she or others could feel at other times, and how situations may change. Cannot see the rationality in certain actions that take the future into account. Loving, Being loving is a large part of her personality. She is known to be forgiving to far ends and often gives others the benefit of the doubt. Has very few true enemies. Sincere, Doesn't crack jokes as much as other people, even though she has a sense of humor. Most of the time reserves a serious tone, whether she's in a good or bad mood, and never uses sarcasm. Mostly laughs when she is playing with others. One-sided, Hides very little if exposed. Has no secret side to her personality. Impulsive, If she is not calm, her abilities in thinking through decisions is lacking, similarly to how a deer may bolt across the road when a car is seen coming or stop in the headlights. Obliging, Will do favors for others and go out of her way even if she does not know someone very well. Hyper-sensitive, Incredibly affected by other people's opinions of her, actions toward her, etc. Can become extremely tormented by any negative things done or said toward her, keeping herself awake at night from it. Does not have the emotional tools to deal with anything that speaks badly of her. Thoughtful, Spends a lot of her own time thinking of life, the forest, or other people/situations. This leads to depressive moments of overthinking, but can also lead to inner peace. Strong-willed, Lets very little come in her way when she wants something or wants to do something. Will go to great lengths to achieve it and stand up to others that are much more skilled fighters than she. Self-assertive, Though in the past her character leaned toward meek and without confidence, after her morphing she has grown to be more sure of herself. Won't let others toss her around as much as she might have before, and will stand her ground if she believes something is right or wrong. Unbalanced, Easily thrown off into conflicting emotions. Wavers, intangible mood. Maternal, Incredibly maternal to torturous ends- for the best or worst. Her highest form of torture is to listen to a child's cry without intervening. ≬ A knife stabbing cotton. Pertains perfectly to being the mold of a doe with human feelings. As a whole could be described as someone who has built a wall around their person, not in an obvious way but more as a film behind welcoming eyes. This stems mostly from a traumatic moment in her life; the loss of her first child. Felt intensely broken and with low self esteem for many years, closing her up to a world which she previously believed to be nothing but good. An isolation which followed this would result in the doe distancing herself from the world entirely. Though distanced many loving qualities still showed, her faith in the goodness of people the most. The cervid believes deeply in trusting others until they are proven untrustworthy, and though at times she can go against this and be apprehensive due to her residue instincts her kindness is always an unwavering aspect of her personality. Shows love without falter to whoever she believes deserves it. However, will always remain apprehensive of those who act slightly unorthodox, as this is nature for her as a doe. Does not mesh well with anyone who shows no kindness or respect towards her. ≬ An easily triggered hyper-sensitivity often leaves her out in the open and easy to wound, creating false ideas in her mind about what other people's opinions of her are. Because of this, at the smallest attack, verbal or not, Alice may lose her ground to either anger or despair, quickly jumping to conclusions about whether or not someone means her harm. Her mind is easily overthinking, showing traits of social anxiety. Other people intimidate her easily. ≬ Inside her is a fight between strength and weakness, deciding which side she lets control her thoughts and emotions. Often she suffers from bouts of lack of will for the world, but this fluctuates and she also can show a great deal of willpower at the same time. Emotionally, she harbors a tendency to push negative feelings down and not express them in a healthy way, and is often the victim of unwanted and uncontrollable rage outbursts. Extremely well versed in concealing emotions themselves, and can appear perfectly calm even when panicking inside if she so wishes. ≬ A wanderer and observer, feeds off of information of any kind - sound, sight, movement. Thrives on it and likes to see with her own eyes to understand the truth of people's reality. Regards more highly than anything seeing information rather than hearing it- knows it's unwarped form is best. Would entirely believe given word only from a select few. ≬ Upon death she will die for good, though this does not mean her soul cannot be revived with unnatural intervention. Because of how most inhabitants die and become revived, assumes with caution this is the case for her too; though still fears death incredibly due to feral roots. ≬ Has come to suffer from some form of depression, and though it is probably not clinical in any way it is not superficial either. Though lacking in traditional symptoms she suffers from a sense of hopelessness and low emotions, and shows a consistent lack of physical activity and self esteem. Is more unstable mentally in general, not dealing with stress well and showing a need to control what happens around her. Her lethargy goes from not moving around a lot during the day to lack of interest in food, and often her body is weak and suffering from phantom pains of nonexistent proportions. Numb at times, overwhelmed by the world and it's winding sinews. ≬ Reckless when she was younger, getting into scuffs and sparking small rivalries. Would accumulate rage and take it out in the forest, sparring with trees and injuring herself- though not entirely with intent. Anyone who threw her an off glance was questioned. Maybe her calming happened due to the loss of her antlers, but it's possible that those feelings were simply buried. Could still suffer from rage and anger outbursts but rarely opens the lid that contains them. ... Morgul harbors a strength to legitimize her feelings when she doubts herself, guide her through actions in life and clean her wounds when affairs go south. Sees in the bull a strength and knowledge that Alice had not yet come across until meeting him, something that drew her closer to him until the two came together. A strong, ever flowing source of trust, stability and love- does not feel there would be a life left to live without him. Nhoz, Isabeau, Yasu, Dupin, Nasim... possibly others I've forgotten! orchids, white flowers, barbed wire, fog, thorns, spikes, religious imagery, blood on flowers, butterflies, skulls, whitetails, fawns, wolves, red riding hood, tears, stiffening, promises, vines, forest clearings, wind in the trees, silent steps, grace, stillness, quiet motions, blue eyes, dresses, restraints, observers, cold hearts, hardened minds, lost objects, wanderers, suffering, silence... ... ... Alice was born a fawn on earth. She was seperated from her parents by the wilds. Searching for them, the little fawn found herself trapped in a swamp. Her attempts to escape and walk through the muddy depths with her spindly legs were futile. This was the last thing she remembered. The doe found herself 'reborn' in the Endless Forest, becoming who she is today. Her memories of the past are very vague, although the wound of losing her parents is still tangible. She is not even sure if she ever died, or was somehow saved.                      ♥ |
