But it did force me to really think and confront a lot of things and feeling I had that normally I would have just ignored by distracting myself with something else, so good did come of it. Yep, not fun at all, but not necessarily all for the worst. Very excited to get to work on art especially, although since school is starting back soon I won't have as much time as would like to spend on things, but should at least have enough to have a steady flow going ^_^
All the same, that's good to hear! Making a steady stream of art can be a lot more fun than having intermittent... uh... typhoons or.. rain.. showers....... *tried a little too hard to carry on the water/art comparisons*
Agreed, sometimes when I get bursts of inspiration and use it up too quickly then I spend a quite a while completely dry of muse and struggling with art block, which isn't fun at all.
I have a Lenovo Thinkpad as well. Granted, it doesn't run games nicely at all, but it runs TEF just fine, which is good.
It does sound like you'll need to get a new keyboard. I have the beeping issue when I restart the computer, or wake it up, and I hit the Enter key. It works fine after that, but it still makes me wonder what's causing it.
Yeah, I didn't think it would be able to play most video games, but I don't mind too much because I've never really had a computer that could play the things I wanted to try. I mainly play a lot of online multiplayer games, which work on my parent's computers which aren't as nice as this one. The Endless Forest is the main thing, and seems to be doing awesome, forty-plus players in game and a general framerate of 20-26fps!!! (Which is a huge upgrade for me)
I was worried about that, I might have to as it's getting pretty irritating when I'm running around in game, and Ren keeps falling in the pond because it won't leap in that direction. I think I could get a USB keyboard just to use in the forest because otherwise it doesn't bother me.
