Wake up in pond, long time hunger, need food. Forest is darker than normal. Good hunter, hide in shadows. Stalk a mauve doe (Thais) with fawn (Lohtu). Fawn is foul, smell like dead. It die soon, Kaars help. Pounce, try to eat, but mauve doe stop us and soon many others try to stop Kaars. Fawn is dead/dying, let Kaars have! These here fighting Kaars have left other little one’s alone though, Kaars know where to find them, will eat the alone young ones. Quickly find fawns (Lee and Hyena fawn) chase try to eat, stopped by big pig and stag with twisted antlers. Get chased. Run and run, finally go to rest in pond. Too many big deer around small deer. Not good to hunt. Small deer come to edge, too close. Too easy, chase it, bit a leg, taste it’s blood before getting driven back into the pond by big ones.

Rest for a while, leave pond, sneak around dusky forest. Spot a small feathered doe (Herla) alone. Smell her fear, like it. Run prey run. She do, she run, so Kaars chase her. She fast but tiring quickly. Big belly, she be with young. Easy prey. But big ones come and stop Kaars, white doe with sharp antlers, pig again, stag with twisted antlers, more and more come, surround little feathered doe. Give up, hungry, blood on tongue.

Find injured fawn from earlier, with blue doe, charge in for another bite, get driven off. Retreat to pond. Angry. Eat fish. Stomach feel better.



The twenty first day of May, in the year two thousand thirteen
Kaars wake up, leave pond, go hunting. Smell blood of fawn from yesterday. Kaars must help it. End it’s suffering. And Kaars hungry. Found it alone. It try to run but not get far, kill quickly. Kaars good hunter. Others come to see Kaars kill, (Dominic and Rumia). Yawn jaws at them and snap teeth. Mine! They stay back. Kaars pleased. Finish eating kill.

Lay in warm spot in sunny place of high grasses, sleep. Wake and wander, watch prey. See the ones with horns. Antlers. Two hooves. Deer. See many of those. Now see different ones. No horns. But large. Squeal like pigs. One hooves. Horses. Watch herd. Small ones. Young ones. Play. They no pay attention to Kaars. Is good. Easy prey. Charge them, scatter, chase a fat female, no one to stop him, Kaars will eat well. But Pig and striped stag from before (Lats and Fletcher) come to stop Kaars. Again. Why? No understand. Lash out at them with killing teeth, this is Kaars kill! Snap at all little things near, chase, bite. Angry. Hunt is ruined though. Leave. Sulk in pond. Very angry. Bite at stupid female deer that follow Kaar into water. Sink to deep water. Rest.

Come out later. Avoid horses. Too many big ones. Look for something easier. Something alone. Find. Two very small ones. Deer. (Daaé and Prita) They no see Kaars. Attack quickly but they fast, flee from Kaars, snap at with killing teeth, chase, chase, want to eat. But then big one’s come. Pig and Striped Stag, dodge them. Try to get little ones. Big Black comes (Gehirn). Too many big ones trying to stop Kaars, give up, flee.

Go back to horses, charge herd, break it up, chase down fat female again, bite at fast legs. Big ones stop Kaars though. Give up. Tired. Much running. No kill. Return to water. Sulk.



The twentieth day of May, in the year two thousand thirteen
Go hunting. Find very small one alone (blue boy), not very big but Kaars hungry. Will eat. Chase. A female come to stop him (Maeve), ignore her, chase little one. Pig come (Lat'svel). To stop Kaars. WHHHY? Dumb pig. Bite pig with big teeth. Angry. Angry! Run through place of tall dry grasses, little blue one running. Chase her. Big cat come (Umay), stop Kaars again. WHHYYY! You no eat let Kaars have!

Need food. Lots of running. And no food. Not good. Watch. Wait. Find nest of small ones. Stalk. Quiet. Kaars will feast. Pounce. Little ones scatter screaming. Ah, so hungry. Almost have. And then, little blue one with feathers (Moon) make light. And sound. (Pelt spell) It blind Kaars and hurt his ears. Burn his skin, change its color, it itches! Try to rub on tree. Get it off! Don’t like. Stop! Little female, do it again. Stop! Run away, jump in big water. Hide. Skin itches. Don’t like.

Followed scent of blood from injured small one from earlier in day. (unknown mini fawn) Alone again, in the high dry grass of the sunny place. Kaars will help it. A small female try to stop Kaars (Isiel) and quickly more come to stop him, the female that protected small one before (Maeve), and then another big male predator (Kody?). Wolf thing, ack won’t let Kaars help the small one. It suffers and bleeds. Kaars help. Stop suffering. Eat it. Wolf thing doesn’t even eat it. Let us have it!

Waited and watched for small one to die. Big ones guarding it. More came to guard (Terrance). They take small injured one away. Left to explore land of tall grasses more. Sniff air, sniff ground. Come to area that smell funny. Make nose burn. Like when blue doe (Moon) made the bright light and loud noise. Only worse. Don’t like. Going to leave. Strong want to leave. Bright red one catches eye though (Johan), sitting by tall female (Verve). Watch them. Want to leave though. Place does not like Kaars, tell him to go. Burns nose. Flashes in eyes. But little red one, he run up to Kaars, right in front of him. So Kaars attack, will eat foolish one if foolish one come to hunter. Tall one calls out, ignore her, chase bright red one. Until BIG black one comes. (Gehirn). Bite at him and try to chase little red but big male charge Kaars. Got out of his way. Going to leave place that tells him to go, flee big black. Ran for the water, big black chasing. Suddenly burning light and loud noise blind Kaars make him stumble. Big black catch up, hit Kaars hard, send us rolling. Hurt. Bad. Get up and run again, slower now, Kaars hurt. Jump into pond, big black won’t follow he stays on shore and taunts, clap jaws at him, splash water, show big killing teeth, I am big predator, stay back! Splash at others who come to pond. Angry. Kaars hurt. Sink into water, only nose out to breath. Safe here.

Fall asleep in water. Hear splash, see light on scales. Big predator in water. (Neath) Kaars not like. Shake head and teeth at, clap jaw, splash. Look big. Not show big crocodile Kaars is hurt. Show killing teeth, growl. Not leave water but stay away from crocodile.

Don’t know about this place now. The burning magic, Kaars not understand. Can’t fight it. Can’t bite it. It bite back like invisible wind. Will see. Sleep in pond for now. Eat fish. Heal.


The nineteenth day of May, in the year two thousand thirteen
Found new hunting grounds. Lots of light. Lots of trees. Lots of prey. It is good. Kaars like, will stay. Watching deer. Follow small one when it goes alone. It is afraid but does not run. Prey is stupid and Kaars is good hunter. Wait. Watch. Patient. Follow prey. Attack it when alone but it run and is very fast. Kaars fast too. Almost catch. Big cat stop Kaars though, big predator maybe this her prey? But she not eat prey. Ack, why stop Kaars from eating prey then?

Other’s come to stop Kaar, make noise follow while try to hunt. Scare away all prey. They so dumb. Pig not leave Kaars alone. Follow. Too noisy. Kaars not your mate. Ack. Leave Kaars stupid pig.

Kaars hungry. Keep hunting. Find two young deer. Alone. No one stop Kaars. Eat them. Small meal but good. Lay in sun. Take long nap. Very good here. Like a lot.

After rest, went hunting again. Look for the little and weak. And alone. They never alone. Always with bigger ones. Searched. Smelled. Watched. Found little one. It have wrong leg. It alone. Kaars will take care of it. Eat it so it no suffer. Kaars good hunter. Kill fast. Chase it when it run. Stopped by big pig again. Ack, pig, this not your family, not your young, why stop Kaars from eating?

Hungry. Need food. See very small young one. Not alone. With female. Maybe eat them both. Chase young one. Chase, chase. Get in a few good bites, taste blood, will eat young one. Big male with shiny mask comes to stop Kaars. Take bleeding young one away. Ack. Let Kaars have it! Good hunter, won’t let suffer. Hungry. Hungry, hungry.

Watch. More watching. Pig come to chase Kaars off. Ack dumb pig. Escape from him in big water. Kaars like water, pig no follow. Afraid? Taunt at pig, clap jaws in water making big splash. Look at Kaars big teeth. Make big big splash. Come in water pig. Come. It only spit and snort. Snort back and clap more water. Yawning big to show teeth. Bored. And hungry. Swim across water. Find where deer with shiny mask guarding bleeding young one. Kaars lay in grass. Wait. Watch. It will die and Kaars will eat.
