For the most part, some masks are 'faces' to him, in that they alter his face instead of simply being worn. Like how to him the Fan Hands mask is a colouring, while the Peacock mask would be an actual mask. Sorry if I'm rambling nonsense, I'm half asleep. ;-;

Coolio! your pictogram looks like a face! I'm sure you knew that, though. I've only seen you once, and it was when your deer was going towards the lake. I listened for a bit, and then I thought to myself, "Hey, that pictogram kinda looks like a face!" xD You never see pictograms like that anymore...
Ah, that's exactly why I picked it! My other deer has a similar one, I'm tempted to consider them related in some way but I don't how and meh. Pictograms that resemble faces/masks are some of my favourites, and I think it's a pity there aren't more active ones in the forest. I used to browse through gen 2 pictograms and I saw quite a few of them, though I haven't seen them used since. Gen 3 pictos don't really seem to be made up of symbols that can make faces that easily, though they are interesting in themselves and I've seen one that looked like a little coffee cup. But anyway, I'm rambling here. xD;
Aww, I remember his old picto, it looked like a little smiley face with a cut on it. :') I know to me at least Tullow's picto kind of looks like a happy cat face, sort of. X3
