A Sketch Blog

They say there is gray between the lines. Black and white, and sometimes gray.
In this world, I see only gray... There is no black, no white. I see the space between.

But when we are together, I sometimes wonder... between what?
And a spark of black, of white... I can see it in the gray. A fawn. A stranger. A bow misplaced... Or perhaps... just placed?

Fluid and ever-changing, yet stable. An understanding that eludes me.
Because, like him, I am neither black nor white... just want and nothing else.

Today, everything is gray.

Tomorrow, perhaps, you'll burn beside me here.
Burn a hole through this gray, and the color will flood inside.

Rabus; Pfft, thank you ;u; I keep remembering the lyrics on Ravus' bio and thinking like... "My entries should be more poetic"... Especially when I started writing about him feeling gray.

eye; Do ittt. It's a nice way to stay loose in both writing and drawing, since there's little pressure to do very nice/polished stuff in either area. I would love to see something like this from you~

I can honestly say that I seldom have that problem XD;; *lazy bum* It takes a lot of mental energy for me to steel myself for an actual painting. I think I saw you write somewhere that you wish you could just stare at something and have your mental image form itself... At least, I think that was you who said it XD I've always felt the same way. I want something to just... appear.
