Ah, yes. I was amused by your does’ behavior. She was very useful. lol The blue one my deer was actually fond of. Earlier that day the blue one had pretty much ’rescued’ my deer when he was hurt. Since then my deer has been trying to get close to him and been ‘playing chase’ with him. Both running him around and trying to get him to come after him. The other one, Reed, had ran up when my deer was trying to play with the blue one and my deer turned on him in an attempt to keep him away from the blue stag.
I had a lot of fun. I hope I didn’t pester them as players too much. Heh.
And thank you. I’m not exactly new to the game though. I don’t normally interact with other players outside of my little group of friends. We tend to only get on together. But most of them seem to have gotten bored with it so I made this guy a while ago.
Nezzaine, you were the mini that was with the blue stag earlier? My deer didn’t mind her behavior though he seemed a bit confused by her. I think at one point my deer tried to get yours to chase him. lol

Truth be told, I was getting a bit annoyed with all the fighting, but that's a different thing for a different day.
I don't mind your stag hanging around, but I appreciate not being circled like I was last night. Being circled by a stranger irritates the crap out of me, which is why I stood up and stared. The distance you sat away from me last night is fine; as long as you're not close enough to activate my circle, then you're fine.
OokamiAzura, I assure you the fighting was not random. One time he was upset a stag got between him and the mini he was chasing for fun. Another he was attempting to protect a mini he had chosen to ‘play with’, which two other deer helped him defend the mini from a gray deer and a green deer. The last time that night he was upset that a stag tried to get near another stag he became interested in. Either way I don’t see a problem if your deer wasn’t even involved.
So far the only deer involved I don’t know who they were was the green deer that was chasing the mini with the gray deer. The two deer that were helping my deer defend the mini. And the deer that stayed near the mini at the water way while the brown stag kept my deer away.
If you would provide a link to your pictogram I will be sure to avoid circling you in the future. Or if you rather, I will avoid you all together.
It's just that lately, there's been some fights in the Forest, and it's become stale, mundane, and annoying. But if that's how you play, then I have no intention of stopping you.
I play several deer, but thesetwo are my mains. The first one is glitched in the games however, the bottom portion of it is missing in-game. It just looks like a triangle with two lines crossing each other in-game.
Ah, I think I remember that first one. Were you the pure white deer sitting by a tree and in some flowers? If so I'm actually rather surprised that bothered you. But I'll be sure to not circle you in the future.
If I do, however, end up bothering you again and you want me to leave you alone a simple full bow and a shake of the head after the bow will get the message to me clearly. Sometimes it can be hard to tell when you're bothering someone and when it's just the way their deer act.
It's just a pet peeve of mine, really. I'm not fond of strangers doing something like that to me, for personal reasons. If it makes me seem like I have a rod up my ass, then so be it.
My Luxord is the stag with the golden butterfly pelt and the real deer mask. He can be aggressive to threats but he doesn't take it to heart.. since he doesn't have one. But I myself certainly enjoy sparring with you xD

That's why he attempted to fight your deer off, unsuccessfully of course. He was intimidated by your deer's stalking and circling. When he fought the other stag away, "saving him" as you described, he was only doing it for his own benefit. I guess you could say he was in a bit of a hyper mood; he doesn't care for other deer very often, so he wasn't fighting the other stag off to save yours just to be clear. <3
I would like to say that my stag is very weak. He cannot engage in an actual fight, so he races around trying to threaten his opponent as a substitute. That's what he was doing last night, but your stag was so persistent that Reed had to get involved. And after a while of running and trying to get away from your deer, my stag experienced... well, I can't really say what it is, but let's just call it an "episode". It's where he became too weak and faint to defend himself any longer.
I think on occasions I will have my stag sit in the air, just to let you know that I would like it if your deer left him alone. Not to be mean or anything, because I enjoyed playing with you, but I think it would be better that if my character should grow too weak to defend himself again, I could let him have a rest. He's very stubborn, and won't let any stag (especially ones who have bothered him to this extent) come near him. I'd like to keep it that way, so it would be nice if your stag could leave mine alone when he's too worn out to get away. That way I don't have to have him "give up" and allow your deer near him when he's too out of it to move.

My deer and I were very confused while near the ruins and suddenly hearing a spell cast but no deer was around… And it seems nearly every time someone casts a pelt spell on my deer today it ends up the gray one. I find this very amusing.

Just to be clear for in character reasons my deer never tried to actually attack your deer. He’s too interested in him to do any actual harm on purpose. He will chase your deer and he will attempt to get your deer to chase him in return and he may even nip your deer on occasion. But he would not lower his antlers at him or intend any serious harm.
When your Reed friend came up my deer’s possessive and protective personality kicked in. He was simply trying to keep Reed away from your deer.
Air sitting is fine. If you don’t want to air sit you can do a full bow and a head shake. I will take the hint. If I don’t seem to catch it the first time my game might have had an issue and made me miss it. Just repeat the action.
I do want to ask though if you would merely rather my deer not try to get close to him and hover at a distance at the times you air sit / say no or if you would rather I completely leave you and your deer alone the rest of the day?

Especially since Reed seems to be a tough stag my deer would rather avoid him if he isn’t defending what he considers is his. If your deer does not allow Reed near him either then that makes the possessiveness a little less obsessive as well.

That was much fun. Saosin loves showing off in front of his mate, and won't hesitate to lock antlers with anyone treating her possessivly. I like how our deer were just being stags, with no real grudges, anyway. And it's nice to have Saosin act like this from time to time too. I wouldn't mind having interactions like that again. I hope you enjoyed the chase, haha.
Ravynn and Saosin, It was nice meeting you both in the forest. At first my deer was just trying to run your stag off so he wasn’t so close to the blue stag and the minis he has basically ‘claimed’. But I grew curious when the stag lowered his antlers at her. My deer figured he’d try stealing her. lol Though after it was clear that they were more friendly with each other he just played with the stag and lead him on a merry chase. It was fun trying to keep his attention.
I would enjoy another run like that sometime as well.
