I think I read somewhere that Virgil is based on a red deer? Is he about the size of one? Even though Gustiro maybe larger then your deer I think he is beginning to submit to his dominance displays. lol Not that he is afraid of Virgil or anything but as I said before Gustiro has his own way of doing things and a curtain way of responding to things. :3
Apparanza, Sounds good. I look forward to it. ( : I try to have him react in one way or another to any deer that gets near him. Unless, of course, he is currently focused on fighting someone or is chasing a deer.

I don't think Virgil is trying to claim Gustiro. He'll hang out, but he also likes to make sure Gustiro knows whenever they are in each others company, he has to play by Virgil's rules, and Virgil isn't very tolerant of the possessive ways(there's very few he allows to do that, which I'd secretly love to see some drama erupt over someday. >> << XD).
I love hanging out with you two because it's such a challenge in communication and interaction, and that is a lot of fun. ^^
Verycrazygirl, If you mean about what it says in Gustiro’s "Companionships & Acquaintances" thread where it says Virgil has put a claim on him it is more of how Gustiro views the interaction. But perhaps I could word it better? Maybe "Not to mention it seems to the red stag that Virgil has placed his own claim on Gustiro making the red bull unsure where his position in this new relationship lay."?
Either way Gustiro sees Virgil's assertion of these rules as dominance displays and acts accordingly. Which makes it a bit difficult, I think, for him to dominate a deer he already has 'claimed' since he avoids fighting them and that is why he attempts to be more 'aggressive' with the rubbing and 'scent' marking for the lack of a better explanation. I think he may express his frustration more when non-claimed would get near Virgil in forms of jealousy. But I do not think he would be as desperate for dominance otherwise. Or maybe I am just trying too hard to get into my character’s head and I am over thinking things. ; )
I think I have also backed myself into a corner with the claimed does thing (or even stags if they happen to be homosexual or bisexual in their behavior). I am not completely sure how he should or would react to them 'confessing their love' of him. I know he would not understand monogamy because of reasons reaching into both his human and normal deer background. I’m not sure if he would be confused or completely oblivious or what. It was amusing though to see a couple of does fighting because he was showing equal affection to them all. XD Though I think he would see the does he had claimed fighting as them asserting their own dominance amongst themselves and wouldn‘t get involved. Heh.

Hey, was that Gustiro that my deer the Forest Witch (X) ran into today? Because if so, I'd like to say that I hope you didn't mind our little squabble/chase; I certainly didn't... I actually had a pretty fun time letting her just be her somewhat crazy self... Also, thank you for not sneezing off her spells; it made her feel mighty proud and useful.
Everyone, Regarding anyone who was interacting with Gustiro last night. I am Sorry I suddenly vanished. My electric had suddenly went out. Apparently there was a car accident down the road so that might have had something to do with it. Then when it came back on my internet just did not want to work for nothing the rest of yesterday and we just got it working today. I am very sorry about disappearing at an exciting time. :/
Seed, Yes, that was Gustiro. :3 I do not mind at all! It was very fun. Sorry Gustiro went crazy on your and your friend’s deer. After that mask spell was cast on him and it made him maskless he thought your two deer stole his skull. That’s why he continued to follow them when they ran from him. He is rather attached to that 'mask' and pretty much went berserk. lol I may make an roleplay post with him freaking out. I think it may be amusing.
I replied to your roleplay of him freaking out, because it is totally amusing. I don't mind him freaking out at all; like I said, I enjoyed giving the Witch the opportunity to be pouty and sulky and flouncy and arrogant, all at the speed of her emotions. Besides, what's the fun of a character whose objective is to create a little chaos in the forest if I don't want someone acting like she created chaos? I mean, she actually did totally cast the mask spell specifically to replace his skull mask with a 'curse,' so he's actually very correct in his interpretation of it...And fun. My thought when I saw his reaction was "Oooh, witchy's gotten herself into a squabble! How delightful!" I mean, sure, she acted scared half the time...but she totally deserved a little return harrassing, in my book.

But what really happened was Gustiro knew the green doe, Evania. The stag with the poppy flowers was already with Evania when Gustiro went to greet her. He did charge at him the first second they met until Evania stopped it. Gustiro suspects Evania had ‘claimed’ the poppy stag because of the way she treated Mr. poppy or at least tried to keep Gustiro from attacking the poppy stag. Gustiro was just curious about him really after that. When the third stag came Gustiro, as usual for him, attacked the stag. The other doe jumped in and attacked Gustiro in defense of the third stag. I am not sure of everyone’s name.
Anyway, after things calmed down and Evania, Nacadia and Gustiro started leaving Evania seemed reluctant to leave without the poppy stag so Gustiro attempted to retrieve him. But apparently he was afraid of Gustiro and Joro would not let Gustiro near him. XD
I hope that all made sense?
Nnnn Im so sorry Brooklyn slept for so long, I saw Gustiro lying down beside her waiting(thank you<3) which I didn't expect. Then when I came back you were gone, I beleive you had to go(it's alright). Sorry, I had to eat supper But I had a fun time with him, haha he was being so possesive over Brook with that other stag(black & white pelt). It was amusing to see<3

At first Gustiro (and I) thought Virgil wanted help fighting him because there was some antlering going on between them. Then Gustiro was just trying to defend Virgil since Virgil seemed to stop fighting. Once they started getting Esll to back out of the water though Gustiro (and I) got the understanding to keep him backing away from the lake. Truthfully both my deer and I were very confused for most of that whole thing. XD

Though more so with stags listed under the rut list. (Then again he always is when he is guarding a 'claimed' deer and currently he is very possesive of Illrose who he was with.) He would probably be more interested in Oisin after the rut. Then again I could always have Gustiro try to herd him? lol

He seemed to take interest in a couple of my deer. One (Toukan) didn't know what to make of him (I'm guessing he caught Gustiro's attention due to his limp?), and the other (Kinsha) kind of freaked out, turned into a bunny, and hid in a tree. |D
