2. IDK MAN I actually hated them when I first saw them. I think a lot of people have a knee-jerk reaction to seeing something out of place like that and some people keep going with that reaction of disgust and anger.

5. In part, yes. Human faced animals have been in the human conscious since Mesopotamian times. Just look at the Lamassu! iirc the creators of the game have a FAQ somewhere where they address this specifically, but they do mention that Frida Kahlo picture.

I can answer a couple really
1. The term "node" is just the technical name of a page for a post on the site. So a diary blog post is a node, and a picture post is considered a node as well. So there's really no difference, it's just different terms for the same thing in a way, though a node can be more than a blog entry.
3. That's gonna take some practice, as there's multiple ways to do it, but one thing you could consider is setting the div's position as absolute and then telling it how far from the top and left it should be
6. You're going to probably need to be more specific ^^;
7. The zombie deer does have its own picto, and it's controlled by the creators. The account's name, if I remember correctly, is velocity (and sneaking is only optional, you can charge straight at them lol)
