Look I can't comment on the actual development update because I'll get banned in a heartbeat but holy SHIT the remake looks terrible. Five years and 50k+ Euros for a copypaste that somehow manages to look even more dated than the original... Good CHRIST the textures are bad. They somehow look crunchier than the original and way too saturated. The only good thing I know of is that we can spawn foliage or something but I don't know if that's in the beta or not. Like did we get ANY actual improvements beyond moving the game to a new engine??? How did this shit take 5 years and 50k euros when there are single-person dev teams out there making WAY more for way less in the space of like 2 years?

ANYWAY hi all, yes I am still old and jaded, no I do not retain faith in the devs and I don't think it should be a crime to say that. LITERALLY any other game in the world, you can criticize freely, but God forbid someone point out that Michael has been dodgy as HELL during the past five years.
