Large, pale blue-ish grey reindeer with blue hooves and ample fur along his hocks and neck, mostly concentrated at the throat. White chin-length hair and simple blue antlers. Face is a little darker than his fur and has large white "freckles" on sunken cheekbones. Eyes are a striking blue and surrounded by a dark patch, almost as if he's wearing makeup (spoiler alert: he naturally has panda eyes). Nose has been broken in two places and ends in a deer-like nose. Has a deep cleft palate scar from his left upper lip to his nostril.



Positive traits
Deep inside he wants others to view him as important and helpful, that guy everybody can go to with their problems. He's a very good listener in that he wont interrupt or react (in any way, really) when anybody tells him their problems. And I mean anybody.

Neutral traits
Tries really hard to help (doesn't always mean he's going to go about it the right way) when asked to. Would rather consider all options available when dealing with obstacles that aren't pissing him off/triggering his anxiety.

Negative traits
Extremely hard on himself, like his head is full of negative thoughts 24/7. Very doubtful of himself, even of his own motives. Basically this. also if you've seen that Bill Wurtz vine where he just sings "I hate myself" over and over, that's classic Mari. His two methods for dealing with hard problems/arguments is to duel to see who is right, or to simply walk away. This makes relationships particularly difficult for him to maintain.

Also he tends to lie to save face. Not even twisting the truth, but bold lies. "I kicked that dragon's ass!" "Mari, I was there. You shot, like, an arrow at it and hid. wtf dude"


Quirks
Gives everybody a nickname because he has this weird aversion to calling anybody by their actual name.
Feather was a gift from his now-dead parents so if you touch it, he'll try to kill you while ugly-crying. It's actually enchanted and gives him a magic boost so it's important in that aspect as well.
Enjoys drinking despite being a major lightweight.
Thinks that his scar and broken nose make him look super cool, really edgy. Hates his face, but knows that it gives the impression that he's tough and mysterious.
When in conversations, he will be absolutely quiet and won't move, maintaining eye contact the entire time. It's kind of unsettling and he knows it, but it's just a habit.

Nothing but a cycle of Marit screwing up and beating himself up about it.

His nose whistles when he breathes through it but I don't think that's considered a power.
Hes pretty squishy when fighting, meaning he takes damage if he can't defend. He's a decent fighter but his defense is really good.
