ALMOST THIRD BDAY MY BABY!!!!

For about a year now has remained out of forest for their own reasons. Finding much greater happiness in spending time with their family and village in their mother's world. Hasn't found a 'career' path of their own, but has taken a small step of independence and moved in with their sister Eos. Still visits the family home often and 'lives' there as well (mom pls feed me always).
Making attempts to coax Hlin out of hiding but also gives the girl a large amount of respectful space.
Steadier in soul and mind, if feeling they're missing something they can't quite think of. Easy to ignore most days, and not really bothersome per se...

Had some chilltime with Akos, and some angsttalk time with Akos where they felt validated(tm) in some ways. Went home later to crawl onto Morgen's bed for some sib comfort snugs.

Recently making a greater effort to come in-forest as a sort of....show of support for the family (and also out of concern for everyone they know tbh sigh) after their mothers came home and began to break pottery to vent over something that had happened. Distressed, as always, and coming to realize a few disheartening things.

Last week, unofficially met their mother's ward (Hlin ♥). Feels deeply for the younger child, and while they had been copying Nae's actions and leaving sweets out for her around the house when Nae left food already, has since gone to greater efforts to leave special treats hidden in the house for her, along with a few river rocks and a piece of quartz.

Making a point to at least swing by Akos and Ezekiel, as well as keep their eyes and ears out for a few others.

Yearning once more to disappear into Honem and Lir, but sticking it out and sticking around for now.

Today, entered the forest and sought out Akos to sit in comfortable silence with the ram. Without knowing him very well, likes him and appreciates his vibe, and likes more that they can both chill quietly and for it not to be awkward (at least on their end sigh). At a loss for what to do about some things, but thought it over anyway. Tempted to ask Akos his thoughts on something, but hesitated too long; they were joined by someone they'd seen the ram with before (Grimkell). Rose and greeted him politely with a small smile before murmuring a soft goodbye to Akos and seeking out the calming presence of ~~their third mom~~ the Crying Mother. Didn't realize their departure might seem like a slight to Grimkell (player screaming over it!!), only wishing to be respectful of Akos's friendships and seeing that the stranger looked rough, thought they might want time together. Soon returned to the village for a nap and some snacks.

Came back later or Morgens heels and was encouraged into play by their sister before being introduced to a friend of their sister's ("Unnamed"). Snugged quietly before they were joined by Gyors.

Reluctant to enter the forest at all, but cheered today with some shenanigans involving two of their sibs.

Returned after months of absence night before last. Sought out Morgen first and foremost; had a happy, quiet reunion. Then sought out their 2ND mother and managed to catch her just before she left for home. Exchanged a few words and affection, then returned to Morgen's side to quietly look over the stream. Later returned home for soup (thx Mollymom) and bed.

The next day (1/9/16) returned to curl next to the Idol and listen to her sing. Content Neph. But was eventually aware of their Mollymom chilling on the hill behind; gave a parting whisper to the Crying Mother and trotted off to snuggle with Molly. LATER joined by Naemom and sandwiched between the two!! eue

Was later alerted to turmoil in the forest by distant thundering of hooves, alarm calls, and the smell of smoke on the wind. Immediately knew the root of it, and was immediately stressed and worried for those involved. Remained pressed against Juturnae with Mjølner standing over them both until things were well and truly quieted down. Judy kinda sat like .n. while their other mother went off. As comfy and safe as it was to say snugged with Naemom, concern for those they know who may have been involved overwhelmed their wants. Stood, kissed their mother on the cheek and went to check in with Molly as the doe was heading back-followed by by Nae-and informed both their intentions of checking on a few others.

First went to Ezekiel, who was well! Relieved, exchanged 'I missed you's', gave him a smooch, and went next to Akos who was not too far. Alarmed and distressed at his condition to say the least. Gently made an offer, and when it was brushed away with an "I'm fine" let it be and simply told the ram that he could find Neph and fam if he changed his mind. Growing increasingly distraught for multiple reasons as they headed next in the Pond's direction to look for Nyami, but caught sight of Kato instead. Swung by to check in with him too and passed concerned looks over those with him (Zaf babies, Hikari and Acobol?). Struck by doe of the children's resemblance to Kato but TOO UPSET RN GONNA PROCESS THAT LATER. Received reassurance that Kato was at least upright and fairly healthy, bid him goodbye and trotted by the Pond for another pass to looksee for Nyami, beginning to weep in the process. Grieved by the pain wrought to both friends and strangers alike.

With their water friend nowhere in sight, returned to Molly (soon joined by Nae) and tearfully confessed they wanted to go home, but didn't want to leave Akos alone in case he changed his mind. Once reassured by moms (and receiving a flower+kiss from Naemom) went to sit near enough to Akos to be seen but far enough away to be respectful of his company and conversation. Was joined by Morgen, who they cried on and then filled in on what had happened. Cried more at a bloodthirsty suggestion by Morgen (IDIO WHOOPED) of what should be done to the forest's fiery tormenter, at the moment not wanting to think of ANYONE being murdered. Who am I kidding Neph is never wanting to think abt anyone getting murdered.

AKOS approached to thank them for the offer. Gave him a watery smile and extended the offer for any time. After he left, once again SADLY said they wanted to go home. Which they did w/Morgen.
Impromptu sleepover with Morgen+possibly Gyors in their bedroom.

CRAP UPD8 BUT WOULD U LOOK AT THAT it's almost 10:30 already and Idio's gonna turn into a pumpkin.

Worst day of Neph life. A Zeke dead. Mrost who they thought was cool is actually a huge jerk. Never any more cinnasticks or rocks for him!!1

Recent events since her return have found her more and more "bummed" in a general sense, and filled with a strange almost restless emotion that she can't quite suss out. Had already forgiven Mjolnir for her past actions (see: literal murder of Cole) while in Lir, and now doesn't blame Mjolnir and Vid for their attack on and maiming of Rossamund. Certainly not about to hold anything against them on purpose, but feeling troubled even though her family has never made promises to be anything other than what they are. Wondering how she is going to make peace with some of her morals being so much different than a large number of the family. (A good thing to ask Naemom about, silly.) Misses Morgen terribly.

Spending some more time away from family members in some instances and instead wandering alone, or lately spending some time with a few more recent acquaintances (Akos and Nyami). Not avoiding family per se, makes sure to spend time and check in with them as well.

ON A HAPPIER NOTE: it was revealed to Neph that Kato is their biological father. Was hesitantly pleased about the knowledge, and talked to Nae (and Molly I think? Correct me if I'm wrong pls) about spending more time with the bull and getting to know him. So far hasn't really conversed with him but has enjoyed some relaxing evenings chilling in his company.
