Entered the Birch and was drawn towards a pair of rocks, smelling something disgustingly familiar. Sure enough, Jealousy materialized. Without a second thought, Malikorin lunged at the sin and a violent battle ensued. The two tore at each other; chased Jealousy through the forest and ferociously guarded his trees as well as Pan's poppy tree as the fight came near each.
Was eventually aided by Lats'vel and Fletcher, and together they managed to defeat the sin for now. Gave Fletcher and Lats appreciative sniffs before heading towards the Pond to wash off. Didn't get all the blood out of his fur - his mind was too occupied with the return of Jealousy. Slowly made his way back to his trees and sat there in silence, thoughts whirling.

Malik's most prominent features are probably his eyes, which are a dull-olive color with small slit pupils that contract and dilate according to his mood. Also with mood shifts the color of his scleras, changing from white to black when he's upset. The darkness of his scleras determine how upset he is. Black surrounds his eyes and curves downward into two stripes on both cheeks.
His pelt color fades from a white face to a black body. His long legs fade from black to white. The skeleton of the DotD pelt is slightly transparent and so is his throat marking {which resembles the Roman numeral 'IV'}. It and his eyes are the color of his speech color, #80856F. Markings are symmetrical, except the throat marking. His hooves are black. He doesn't really have a buttload of fur. He seems to become slightly more fluffy in the winter to defend against the cold, but still not much. His expression rarely ever changes - he typically looks empty and emotionless, sometimes with a hint of melancholy.
His slenderness is deceptive, holding an unexpected amount of strength that he doesn't let show unless necessary. An unusual amount of speed is another of his advantages.
When he is in a very relaxed state, his mass of antlers will shrink into two long, sharp horns. These antlers {as well as the larger ones} feel almost like metal.

- Malik usually sniffs or nods in greeting rather than bows.
- He is quite emotionless and might not react to things much.
- He is not particularly violent and prefers to avoid physical conflict.
- Malik tends to be there one moment and somewhere else the next. Very quickly.
- He often gets uncomfortably close, ignoring the concept of personal space. He won't tolerate strangers getting too close to him, though.
- Nuzzles are rare, only done to those he considers close, and normally in response to another nuzzle. They are often brief, like a head rub.
- He becomes unstable when it snows, usually resulting in conflicting desires for company and no company, self-inflicted injuries, nightmares, and flashbacks as well as a possible increase in aggression.
- If Malik were to be spelled into a mini deer, he would be unable to get rid of it until he goes to sleep. Other critter spells can be sneezed off at any time.
- He has an alarmingly high pain tolerance due to being abused for a large portion of his life.
- He is more likely to watch fights than get involved, even if there are liked deer in them. There are exceptions.
- If his friends are hunting, he will intervene only to protect them against those who are attempting to save the victims. He won't actively hunt the targets himself, usually.
- He is strangely tolerant of fawns, especially those belonging to his friends.
- He never gives goodbyes.
Relations
N e i r o - Neiro may be able to fake emotions, but he feels little, if anything, for anyone but his brothers. Malik doesn't tell him much, but Neiro seems to find out enough on his own. {Older brother}
R e q u i e m - Malik gets along with Req the best out of his brothers. Malik knows Req looks up to him, and makes an effort to comfort him when necessary. {Younger brother}
I n a l i - His deceased sister. He can feel her presence every now and then, and now that her existence is confirmed, will actively search for her.
J o r o g u m o - An adopted sister. Joro means a lot to Malik, and after watching her die and come back, holds her closer than ever. He knows he can rely on and confide in the Spider Queen.
K e n a i - Malik's nephew through Neiro.

P a n d o r a - She is very special to him. He trusts her completely, and is very protective of her. She is the most important source of affection and comfort to him. Bond, bound. She resurrected from death thanks to the flames of hope, and now Malik does his best to keep her safe. Her current lack of a soul - it being in Jealousy's possession - makes it increasingly difficult for him to be around her, but he has a feeling that hope will save her this time just as it did before.
U m a y - Malik likes her predatory instincts and overall company in general, and trusts her. He enjoyed hunting with her once, although he'd be far more likely to defend her as she hunted rather than actively participate. Gave her a red-tailed hawk feather.
K o d y - Malik is quite fond of the wolf, and thinks highly of him. He trusts Kody, and would protect him. He enjoys romping with the canine as well.
R u i - Malik became truly appreciative of Rui when the feline kept him close company while Pandora was dead. He really cares about Rui.
L u m e - A deceased close friend, someone Malik really liked. Felt that Lume was trustworthy, and liked spending time with him. Was there when he died; despite Lume's poor condition as he passed away, will always remember him as the strong, dependable stag he was.
D j i n n - She is one of the few deer Malik will play around with. He witnessed the birth of her fawns, and is very proud of her. He very much likes the time they spend together.
L e m o n - A little gray doe whose presence was a constant one in Malik's life. Her eagerness to give affection was uncomfortable for him, but he tolerated it. After finding out she had feelings for him, gave her space after declining, and hasn't seen her in a very long time.
R i z a - Malik is fully aware of the fact that he intimidates her, and typically can't resist reinforcing it. Despite this, he probably wouldn't tolerate anyone bothering her.
S p i r i t u e l l e - Malik is fascinated by the ethereal doe. He wants to know more about her, and enjoys talking with her. Misses.
N o e l l e - She was the first one Malik ever revealed his past to. He's shared many memorable times with her, including the discovery of the effects of blueberries. Will never forget her.
K a o o r i - He secretly feels comforted by her presence when she comes and sits by him when he's alone, and he appreciates it very much.
T u l l u s - The first 'friend' Malik ever made. Despite the poltergeist's importance to him, he feels conflicted due to Tullus' maliciousness towards others - particularly his friends.
D e m o n - This stag's eagerness to learn why Malik is the way he is has made Malik wary of him. No longer as distrustful of him as before.
K a h l i - He enjoys messing with her - especially when she rubs on his trees - and is amused by her constant aggression. Despite this, he's curious about her even though getting to know her seems to be out of the question.
E s l l - Lots of struggles against the Monarch regarding Noelle. However, many negative emotions directed toward Esll have lessened over time from not seeing him.
J e a l o u s y - Pandora's murderer and soul stealer. Malikorin is determined to eliminate the sin, the only one he will seek out to destroy. Jealousy causes a feeling as close to hatred as Malik can get.
