Laghodessa's Summit

A hill silhouetted by cloudy skies
The wind howling, leaves torn away
There at the summit she appears
Those eyes like little blue flames
Trail away past her fearless face
She was too strong to cry about the past
She only looked to the present...
Her eyes appeared to be wisps from afar
Searching for the one she truly loved
There was a reason to linger on
For her love roamed this darkness too
And in a heartbeat, the fallen angel is gone
But she is always watching...always searching...

Notes
After her revival by Osias' hands, she had retained her ghostly eyes and the ability to assume a raven form. Her skeletal markings have also remained ghostly in a way, now harboring a soft blue glow instead of the usual black and white monotone.

He had been enjoying the

He had been enjoying the silence of the dark night in the forest. It had flowed through him like a river and lead him...lead him where?

It had lead him to Laghodessa's grave.

After making his rounds, he had ended up here, standing in front of her grave. With a small smile, the ancient red stag trotted off to twine some poppies into his antlers. When he returned, he looked down at the small patch of earth.

It was strange that he felt attached to it. By everything he stood for, he should hate it. This was his brothers' graveyard after all. And yet...And yet. Something led him to care for it, to bring poppies to the grave. Perhaps it was out of respect for his enemy-turned-friend, but he felt a need to take care of the little patch of earth.

Joints cracking and snapping, the stag lowered his crown of poppies to the earth, offering them to the grave. He could smell the richness of the soil. This was good land for her. He made sure to arrange the flowers nicely, placing some of the red blossoms on top of the marker and others in a wreathed arrangement. The blossoms shone against the dark earth and again, he smiled, gray eyes surveying the arrangement.

Perfect.

"Rest peacefully," he murmured, turning away from the gravestone and walking slowly back into the firefly-lit night.
