I step into the madness of a suffering mind.
The world within is no more than horrors and anguish, secret fears and looming regrets, and a confusion, more prominant than anything else. The contorted demons who lurk in the darkness crawl along an non-existant ground, crying out for a light to find them and save them. Ghostly phantoms drift in and out of sight, taking up hiding places behind giant black tendrils, which have grown out of and blocked out peaceful memories. All along the sky, there are pulsating red veins ripping into the remaining traces of what must have been solid understanding at some point. Up ahead, I see iron gates, far as the eye can see. Heavy chains hold all exits in place.
Unafraid, I step threw the darkness. Where my hooves touch down, the traces of pain receed, and blue light spills into the darkness. It may only be a temporary banishment, but for now it is all that must be done. The demons are captured in the light, and vanish completely. Their cries fall mute. I come within reach of the iron gates. Between the bars are thousands of dead roses, with poppies sprouting out of their stems, only to choke on thorns. I rise and extend my forehooves, touching the nearest rose. It immediatly becomes filled with life, and from it, all the rest begin to grow vibrant with health. Their scent pushes away that of death. I step threw the bars, into the barren land beyond.
In my trail, water begins to seep out of the unseen ground, and grass begins to grow around me. It becomes as green and blue diamonds around me, creating a new ground. The veins in the air fade away, and light filters threw.
This immagined land, is familiar to me. I have been here many times before. My ghostly form solidifies, becoming as I had been in life. Far ahead, I can see a mental representation of Darkweaver, bound by shackles and chains to the flat surface of a stone. Chains had punctured threw this representations eyes and locked his head to the ground, while others wrapped around his neck and torso, and down his legs, wound so tight that they drew blood. He had no hooves, but instead, long claws like that of a lizard. Blood did not leak out of those chained eyes as one would expect, but instead there were tears. Beside him existed a white bird, bound by the wings, and a man in a blue suit, with bright red hair draped over his head. He was shackled by wrists and ankles.
I stepped onto the rock, and touched my cheek to the cursed demon's. "My dear, it's time to come back home." I whispered. At my touch, all three fade away into blue and white crystals. The world follows suit, and I soon find myself back in the forest, no more than a ghost.
Before me, Darkweaver opened his eyes, and looked up at me. The madness had fallen away, leaving behind the familiar sanity and devotion. "Thank you, Laghodessa."
