Safear's whole family is

Safear's whole family is gone......but i think it's because most deer are driven to or run away to tef, usualy because family related issues.

-shrug- My main deer's parents, Marti and Val, are alive but they move between the forest and the real world.

People seem to like to make sad backgrounds for their deer, usually for a reason for them to be in The Endless Forest or just for an interesting character background I think. Not every deer is this way though.

x'D well I have many deer to

x'D well I have many deer to explain.

Zerg and Mar Sart - They just appeared in the forest after passing on in their past lives. No parents to speak of. XD
Tiralarc - Kind of appeared from outside the forest. Parents unknown (since I am too lazy to make a backstory)
Driftwood - Followed an eagle into the forest. Parents are probably living outside the forest.
Nightgale - HAS her parents still, but I never made their characters. XD
Nekura - Another 'died and appeared in forest' character.
Darkweaver - Parents ripped eachother apart in an epiliptic seizure during the first ever abiogenisis. (Dark doesn't know about epilepsy even if he is old, so he thinks the twin gods posessed them and had them as a sacrifice.) Children died/dissappeared shortly after his return to the forest after a 30 year leave. Mate was murdered by a devout pelt'd stag.
Laghodessa - Parents die of old age and natural causes. She is murdered by a devout.

Uh, yeah. XD I guess I followed the standard of 'no parents' overall. XD

I noticed this trend as

I noticed this trend as well, and found it a little depressing. It could be used as an excuse so you don't have to create new deer to role play the parents as well (it's a hassle making all those characters sometimes Sticking out tongue )

I myself am happy to say my deer has both parents and live quite happily just outside the borders of TEF. And they're normal and everything, in good health and no mental issues or traumas xD

My main issue with having

My main issue with having parents for my deer that would also live in the forest is that it means another character to play. XD Otherwise, all of my character's parents are either no longer among the living or exist outside of the forest. Smiling It's just easier that way to me.
