While I agree that it's very inconsiderate, please understand that bullying them into logging out is still rather spiteful...I hope that instead they see this and understand they should no longer use that pelt.

Pff I failed to mention how annoyed this gets me as well, sorta the same feeling when I see people leaving their garbage around. They know it's wrong (why else would they have fled when Queze did not show aggression?) but they still do it. I'm also wondering if they removed their picto in the hopes of getting away with it...which doesn't actually work, since I saw their symbol on the 'radar' at the edge of the screen anyway.

Either way, it's no longer allowed, and won't be tolerated. Hopefully whoever it is knows that now, or at least knows they won't get away with it.

Honestly I'm so glad that M & A made the comments that they did over this. It really is just wrong for anyone to be stealing their pelts. I think most of the forest is aware of this issue and it's results now, but there may still be a few who aren't and haven't gotten the message yet. Maybe keeping an 'updated' repost of the announcement here in the forums as a reminder so they can't miss it might help?

Also..... I don't think M & A would be so cruel as to pull the plug on the servers over an individual deer doing this just to stir things up, so long as we stay CALM about it and let them know that we are not approving or encouraging this kind of behavior. One 'black sheep' so to speak would get too much attention if they shut down the servers over them... but if we stay CALM and keep the reminders posted they'll eventually get tired of trying it and it will stop.


also though... I'd like to know what everyone's opinion is about the perma-devout pelt?? does this fall into the same category in your eyes? I've been worried about it....

I agree with ravynn on the perma-devout. In my books, anything that can be done within the original game (with no need to go into the files themselves) isn't hacking, it's as harmless as air-sitting or water-walking

devout pelt = harmless glitching.

Although we are still disobeying the gods if we were to use the devout, the glitch has existed for so long without any fixing/puinishment that M&A probably do not mind.

Thats how I've felt about the permadevout as well, and since it's been around and public knowledge for so long without them complaining about it I didn't think it was really included in this issue... but for the sake of not making controversy I wanted to get some other opinions as well. Light would miss her lovely white fur for ages without it! < T-T > *lol*
