Gunshot in the forest?

Every once in a while, I hear this gunshot noise in the forest. o____o I've heard it a few times, now, and I don't have any music or anything else open, so I know it's from the forest. Has anyone else heard it? No one seems to react when the noise occurs.

I hear that, too. But no, this is different. At least, I think it is? It's REALLY loud, and it sounds exactly like a gunshot. And yes, it's coming from my computer speakers. xDD

It scares the crap out of me, every time...

That's happened for a very

That's happened for a very long time: I've heard rumor of a lot of what it is, but, really...who knows? I don't think it sounds that much like a gunshot, at least not one that could take down a deer: so we're pretty safe.

I hear it occasionally myself. Zerg usually takes off running if she hears it, unless she's close to a friend... in which case she'll not react. I was actually considering making a short story on hunters in the forest one of these days...

I've heard it sometimes

I've heard it sometimes when a deer coughs the sound repeats rapidly and it sounds like a machine gun !! Did you ever hear that ? Its like a glitch or something..

I think it might be something to make the forest seem more real, or something.
