WIP, I'll polish this later.
Essentially I wanted to make a directory of TEF deer who had plant life as part of their body. It can be as little as a single flower growing on their head to as much as their body is completely covered in tree bark, and they'll count for this directory.
Please note that this is not in any way a 'herd'. I simply would like to have a reference of characters who have plant qualities to them.
- a reference picture (I will shrink them to fit on here if they're too big) with credit to who drew the picture
- a paragraph-long description of the plant-life that makes up their physiology and how it affects their body and life habits. It can be as short or as lengthy as you'd like.
If you need an example of how I will do this, please look at Bodhi's description below.
Hope this turns out well.

Origin
Bodhi was a genderless fawn who was born nearly dead. The doe gave birth to it, but when it saw Bodhi was not moving, it abandoned the fawn, believing she had miscarried. Bodhi was rescued by Mother Nature herself, and became part plant to revive its body.
Plant Nature
Bodhi's body is fawn-like in shape, but is covered in plant and fungal life. On it's back is a thick layer of moss which has tiny pores that release mushroom spores when it feels especially happy. When the spores land on a solid object or the ground, they quickly grow into small glowing
lunar mushrooms, and are completely harmless. Bodhi's face and 'antlers' are a fungal mask, and it's eyes have a strange wood-like appearance to them. Bodhi's legs, ears, and tail are draped with
Spanish moss. Bodhi's belly is lined with roots, and when it sits down, the roots dig into the ground and absorb water and nutrients.
Bodhi must be careful what it touches with it's roots, as it has accidentally killed small animals who have gotten caught in the roots. In addition, Bodhi must be very careful not to absorb too much water at one time, and must seek shelter during rainstorms, or else it will grow too large and lose control of it's body, becoming a relentless monster called Akusala that will hunt and kill other deer during the rainstorm. When the rain ends, Akusala reverts back to Bodhi, who is dazed and has no idea it had killed...aside from finding blood on it's roots. Bodhi's body tries to resist taking in blood, but it will become uncontrollable if it absorbs some and will thirst for more, becoming irrational for a while and trying to harm others to take their blood. When it comes to its senses, Bodhi feels awful and becomes exceedingly apologetic toward those it had attacked.
Bodhi especially enjoys the company of other deer who have plant qualities to them. It really loves having others it can relate to, and hopes that it can understand why it was born into the world alone by learning from those who seem similar to it.

Origin
Born from the spirit of the trees,at the foot of the Old Oak.
Plant Nature
The tree spirit's body is as large as the largest moose who roam the forest. His body is thick with muscle, making him potent in a fight. His mighty rack is laced with moss and lichen, which rest on thick, twisted, bark like antlers.
His appearance and personality change with the seasons. As summer is high his moss, flower, and mushroom laden coat almost make him look like a mound of plant when still. He is most mellow and calm in this season. In the fall the plants on his coat start to fall off, and he becomes more skittish and frail. As Winter approaches all plant life on him is dead, his heart becomes bitter as well.He feels the spirit and thoughts of the plants surrounding him. And they do not like the cold as much as the other deer at all.
But as the spring comes he finally passes, but is always reborn again as a fawn. With saplings for antlers and little dandelions growing about his downy fur.
Orogalad's face has a humanoid appearance. But looks as old as the largest trees. One might think his face is part bark.
For it is, yet making expressions is far from impossible. On good days he appears to have the face of a kindly old man. But when bitterness rises his expression should be clear to say "Enough!'
Although food for regular deer is more to his suit, he can regain energy just as well by basking in the sunlight for long periods.

Origin
Once upon a time a forest spirit from another world visited the Endless Forest. The spirit was awed by the beauty of it and reminded how the humans had so abused its own land. It did not want to leave this wonderful place, but the duty of the spirit was to watch over and protect its forest forever. So, it asked the gods if it could leave a small piece of itself there. The Twins agreed, placing a small part of this spirit into one of their own children, letting her grow and live as they do.
Plant Nature
Riza has not displayed any obvious connection to plants, but given her ancestry, it is likely there is untapped potential. In fact, she is rather powerless, save for a green glow that occurs in her eyes when extremely upset. However, her son has actually shown to have powers of photosynthesis, and that could have only come from her. Only time will tell the true nature of this daughter of the forest.

Origin
Ryuu was born in the forest to Riza and Ferin, both having dragon in their blood. It appears Ryuu's plant quality comes from his mother's side.
Plant Nature
Ryuu can actually photosynthesize. Some of his skin/scale cells have chlorophyll, allowing him to use some of the sun's energy to fuel him. Of course, Ryuu must eat as much as any other animal. This little bit of extra energy plays into Ryuu's awesome stamina.
There is likely something deeper that is not yet apparent that connects him to plants, but it is unknown what exactly it is.

Plant Nature
Sebastian is the product of a mind obsessed with a single idea slaving for years without rest. He is a living statue, originally created by an unknown artist who strived to make the most realistic deer-statue in the world. He worked for years and years and managed to work himself to death just after finishing his masterpiece; Sebastian. He left a hollow space in the deer's body where the heart should have been. In this space he planted a single
ivy which would be the metaphorical source of its life. The plant grew and soon wrapped around the deer's lifeless body. Centuries passed and in time a demon came to posses the frozen statue, granting it life. But the emotions of the artist were too strong and the statue gained consciousness. The plant in his heart gives him a love for nature and a preference to stay with trees and plants as opposed to deer. His antlers are overgrown with moss from his many trips to the pond. Aside from his love for nature, the plant doesn't affect his life. His body is made of stone, so its roots don't bother him. As a matter of fact, the plant has come to feed on his lifeforce instead of the sun and water as it should. This has warped it slightly, making the leaves more sparse and elongated and also making it infertile, seeing as it never blooms nor bears fruit.

Plant Nature
Baum is basically a tree gifted with the ability to be a deer. He will bear fruit, leaves and flowers on his antlers when he reaches adulthood, and will provide shade and food to those who need it. Baum has one root that comes from his stomach like an umbilical chord right now so that he may take in nutirents, as well as having a root for a tongue(now useless). When he grows up, his leaves will take in sun nutrients and he will begin to drink water through the root on his tongue, the umbilical root falling off.
