The Great Serpent Unearthed

Potential new character, may become an important ally or a devastating monster. Or could just become a character unrelated to TEF entirely. Haven't gotten that far yet.

"Sealed away, imprisoned. Sand and brick entomb its body."

Ssssssaaaaaaaaaaahhhh...

"Created it to be a guardian of treasure."

Facts and notes -

Place of origin - Meroë Pyramids, Sudan

Species and color undetermined, though I really like the look of this snake. Could potentially be a cobra instead. I'm happy to get suggestions.

About the size of a large python, maybe larger.

Defining characteristics - loyal to those who it serves, seeks out those who appear to have leadership roles. Most likely won't be poisonous but will be excellent at constricting prey and enemies.

Possible names - Ufuwan, Ayya (Both mean "Snake" in Arabic). Also open to suggestions

What I'd like to do with him

What I'd like to do with him (I keep trying to call him a 'mercenary', but what I really mean is that...he goes from one job to another, doesn't have to be an assassination job. It can even be protecting a fawn), but what he wants in return is a piece of treasure all to himself. He really likes treasure since he's guarded some for so long.

The treasure can actually be anything. Something sentimental, something random. He'll (literally) treasure it as if it were gold and jewels.

I actually like the name Ayya. I think I'm going to call him that.

I like that idea a lot

I like that idea a lot Quad...maybe Queze will bring him back a piece of something from his next trip home.

I'm planning on writing a

I'm planning on writing a 'pilot' story for him, where he meets his first master, does what they ask, and gets his first piece of treasure. No definite ideas yet...was considering the first master to be a doe or a fawn to show that he really is a neutral character (not really good or evil, just does what he does).

Later on, of course, he's going to run into Iugulare...

Hmm...I see that Waterstar can change her size, but even so, Ayya is the size of a python. He's not some little snake, he's pretty large. Large enough to constrict around a deer.

...and I think he found his first enemy...

You can put her as an enemy,

You can put her as an enemy, or perhaps a predator. Waterstar is stubborn though and usually doesn't accept facts until she realizes it won't work. Feel free to seriously injure her. She has seven more lives and if I feel like it I can kill her.

I listed her as a threat, but

I listed her as a threat, but that doesn't necessarily mean that Ayya despises her. In fact, if given the opportunity, he will serve under Waterstar...for treasure of course Eye

Here's his bio, by the way
