The Endless Forest Fan Art Calendar 2010!

The 2010 Calendar is here!

The Official The Endless Forest Fan Art Calendar is here! After much effort, time, and work, it has been assembled and is ready for purchase.

The Endless Forest Calendars hold all user created artwork from players who love the game. I would like to thank everyone who volunteered their beautiful artwork for this project, and to anyone who purchases this calendar. Your purchase helps to fund this extraordinary and artistic game. All funds raised go directly to ToT which will then help to fund the future of The Endless Forest!

For those of you who need an excuse to donate, this is it! Community involvement is really important in the progress of the game, so both I, and Michael and Auriea appreciate it.

If you aren't already a member of The Endless Forest deviantART fan club make sure to join!

If you'd like to continue to donate to The Endless Forest after purchasing a calendar, you can make a one-time or monthly donation by clicking here!

Death?

He's a blissful entity, and as such knows nothing about pain.

Just in case you missed it ;)

The Endless Forest 3.30 released with new feature “De Drinkplaats” -

De Drinkplaats

Download The Endless Forest here. It’s free. Like, for real, not as in “free to play”.

We have upgraded The Endless Forest engine and added a new feature to the game for the occasion of the exhibition Fantastic Illusions which opened in Kortrijk last week. It’s an exhibition of work by contemporary Belgian and Chinese media artists that explores the idea of immersion (there’s two games in it: The Endless Forest and Flower). The show ran in the Museum of Contemporary Art in Shanghai in September and can now be seen in the Broelmuseum in Kortrijk until February.

The Broelmuseum collection includes several paintings by 17th century Flemish painter Roelant Savery, many of them featuring animals very prominently. One painting, entitled “De Drinkplaats”, or “the watering hole”, served as the inspiration for the addition we made to The Endless Forest.

It was accepted gaaaaaaaaaaaaizzzzz. I remade the first one because it was way too small to fit in the calendar. And I decided to redo it... here is the result :3 !

Ehh, I don't know, this turned to be something very different from my original plans: originally it was supposed to be a really sly looking deer creature and... it turned out to be some insane wolfdeer combination or... I don't even know.
It definitely was supposed to have horns but I couldn't think of anything that would have looked fine with the rest of the design so... ah what the hell. 8D

The community site will be down next week. Ahh, I need to find myself a life.

Umyeah, I love creating characters even if I didn't play them. I'm not sure if I'll keep him, but I had fun creating him. I haven't even really played him yet.
I'm afraid he won't be able to make too many friends with that poor personality, I don't understand why my characters are always so complicated. Anyways, I'll see what happens. 8D
-Feels bad for raping skull mask with all of her charas- .. But it's so pretty. ó__ò
