I promised myself I'd try to avoid posting vents or ranty things, because I remember in highschool when I as first on this site as a very angsty teenager I had I bad habit of being kinda whiny, and that's not who I am anymore.

I just need to make a tiny exception because I'm so utterly baffled I need to make sure I'm not a crazy person.

Ok so some very nice souls have been patiently helping me trying to figure out the CSS on Atiq's bio (bless your hearts) but I'm exceedingly inept at code lol



this is all I'm trying to do, put his name (which is an image) and and image of him overlapping parts of the bio, but I just....don't...know how? Like specifically the code needed and where in the world do I stick it XDD

I've looked around all day at coding websites and forums but all of it just looks like a mess to my brain.

I know I'll figure out something eventually, just anyone have anywhere to point me? Much appreciated.

I'm not sure if anyone ever did this before or whatever, but thought I'd just post a quick reminder/request since this has been popping up a lot lately:

Could I trouble you to either tag the deviation as tef/the endless forest, or say it's TEF-related in the description? (or both) We get a lot of non-related art and sometimes it's hard for us to tell right away so a quick tag would just smooth the process out a bit, and get your submission posted faster! (And also prevent us accidentally declining a submission)

No biggie if you don't, we'll either figure it out or just ask for clarification, like I said this would just help move the process along a bit XD

Once upon an arbitrary time, a friend once tried to start an art help blog, specifically for the purpose of helping everybody with their art work, I think back then it was just a "post your art and we'll critique it/help you fix it" type deal.

But now I'll pose this question:

Is this something you'd like to see again?
A general hub to post something you're working on to ask for feedback/help from the community?

And if so? Anything else you could use? Maybe a place to ask if there's a tutorial on how to do something, or how to find such and such resource/reference? And also probably branch out into writing help as well for the authors out there?

Because if that's a thing y'all want, I can go ahead and start on that and make a simple, neat little thing with something like this and/or any suggestions you have.

I dunno, it's 4:30 am my time and I was almost drifting off and my mind went "ooh, remember that one cool thing your buddy did?" lol

but holy shit the trainwreck that is my legacy is tempting me to fix it

Because I just accidentally logged into all three of my side ones, (EDIT AND I DID IT AGAIN JUST NOW, I POSTED ON THE WRONG ACCOUNT OMG I AM SO SORRY D: I swear, good lord I am mixed up) and I was pretty sure I kept one. I mean, I have a list, of all of my usernames and passwords for everything I've ever signed up for, and everything matches, so it's not like I'm actively trying to hack things on purpose haha
I am just very confused lol Is there a bug or did the people I handed them to not change the passwords? Do I say what the accounts are or do I just keep quiet?

I just want to help someone who was asking if they could have my side account's pictogram |D

My computer blew up again shortly after the last time I said I was back so I basically just put that on hold until I got it permanently fixed, because I felt bad having to keep asking for people's help to get Atiq up and running again.

But now I'm moving again so I'm still on hiatus XDD

I just keep re-appearing. maybe this time around I'll try and actually keep the spaces between my appearances less than a year or so apart haha. Hope my few and far between remaining pals here are still doing ok, I think about you from time to time.
My long history with computer issues suddenly ramped up to a point where my laptop would hit a memory glitch and die every 3 or so months and I'd have to reset everything. It was annoying enough to get all of the programs I need for classes back on here every time and I just didn't see it as being worth it to put TEF back on again and again.
But we'll see what happens this time.

But all that prattle is pointless for the fact of the matter is is that Atiq is nekkid again. And apparently the game updated and that rendered my spelldata backups as moot.
So if anyone spies a derp hanging out by a magic source, spare a minute or two please? I need two sets this time actually, but I'm not in a rush. Just kinda hanging out and enjoying the forest.
