I'm officially taking an indefinite hiatus from TEF. I don't feel like getting into the specifics here, but there's too much triggering content on tefc for me, and no, I'm not using "triggering" flippantly as a mental health professional diagnosed me with C-PTSD. I have a therapist and psychiatrist who I meet with regularly and I am on medication, so don't worry about me. I'm actively working on healing, but an incredibly scary event in February has set my progress back.
Right now it's difficult for me to feel comfortable logging onto Discord at the moment--in fact, I uninstalled it for the time being--but if you want to discuss character stuff or want to know more about what's going on with me, feel free to hit me up using whatever resources you have at your disposal (ie the contact info below). Don't be insulted though if it takes me a bit to get back to you.

Oh gods, Indian food? I learned the hard way that you should NOT be daring when trying it. XD (It was a buffet-style where/when I had it. Aside from the "OMG FIRE IN MY MOUTH!!" things, it was pretty good. |D)

Today:
"Emmy, you look lonely...It's good to see you though. I feel better!" He coughs and nuzzles his head into her fur.
She smiles down at the fawn, a little color coming to the pale and weary face. "I'm so glad you're feeling better, little Keme. You have to be careful, though." Emmy glances at the water and exhales slowly.
"It's nothing you should worry about." She offered him a wavering smile and tried to nudge him back playfully. "All you should worry about right now is getting all the way, one hundred percent better!"
She looked down at him, down at the little pout-y face. It did work.
What harm would come from telling a fawn, anyways?
"Well, okay then. If you've made up your mind about it. I met this stag a while ago, Sie, and we've been very good friends. Lately, though, we've wanted to be.." She thought of a good, child-friendly way of explaining mates. "We've wanted to be like a mommy and a daddy, I suppose. I'm sad because I don't get to see him very often, and I want to.. be a mommy with him."
He frowns. "Oh! Like Joro's my mommy. Sorry he's not around. Don't worry, Miss Emmy, he'll be back!" The smiles lights up the older fawn's face as he glances up into her eyes.
[Fawn misses the REAL point of the matter: Check!]
She blinked in confusion at him and shook her head a little, starting to look bewildered. "No, Keme, it's more like.. " Emmy exhaled slowly to calm herself then started again. "I don't think you're quite old enough to understand it. It's silly grown-up stuff."
