Yes, I know Vasska. I just have not seen him as an adult until now. XD I was wondering who that deer was that kept sitting with us. It did feel like I knew him so Gustiro did not fuss at him much.

Gustiro; That's probably good XD Vasska thinks that "fussing" is a cue to start playing games, so he would've pestered Gustiro even while the red buck was injured.

Basically, Vasska was being his lovely self. He thought that Caen, the white mini, was taunting because he wanted to playfight. So of course, he starts playing, which, in Vasska terms, is pretty damned dangerous, especially for a mini. So Toukan and the magpie doe stepped in, and then finally Ravus, the zombie-antlered doe (his mum). She's the only one that can really control him.

Then he went after the bunny, which he knew would get Caen riled up, until Ravus pulled him off again.

Vasska lifted his head as he heard approaching footsteps. It had been a horrible day. It only kept from being the worst day ever because it followed the worst day ever. He was bored. Bored, in pain, and full of a twitchy excitement that he could do absolutely nothing about. When his eyes caught sight of Xetkal's vibrant orange pelt and flickering candles, he nearly heaved himself to his feet. Nearly.

Something bright drifted into the grass in front of him, fallen from Xet's mouth, making him pause. He put a hoof on it, pressing it into the dirt to keep it from escaping with the wind. It was... a feather? A grin split across his face, pushing his eyes into happy slits.

"You dropped it... finders keepers, yes? You won't get it back, you won't~" he purred happily, dragging the plume toward him. It flickered in the breeze like a flame, catching and holding his attention. Just what he needed to distract him as he healed.
