even thought its up on da, i am always really upset when i am truly proud of something and i receive no real feedback...
so, i ask of you, please give me your opinion. im tired of 'its pretty' or 'nice job'. HOW is it pretty? what made you feel like i did well on it? i really want to know..

The lighting on this is lovely. I feel like I am entering a sort of "secret garden" when I look at it.
You captured the sort of mystery and magic that the world of TEF has. The detail on such a small image is astounding and if I had the money would definitely commission one Laughing out loud

Hope my reply was what you wanted :3

Adding surprise animations

Adding surprise animations (like a deer peeking out or a bird flying by or a bush moving would be neat Laughing out loud
I know that is complicated but later on it would provide you with a good challenge Laughing out loud
and I would LOVE LOVE LOVE you forever if you told me how to make these XD

i started with drawing the grass mounds and the pathway before adding all the details, if that helps any. start with color blobs then keep refining is what i do. not much of REAL help ;_;

i dont usually work at a certain size, but i knew that for this, smaller would be easier. you dont need it to be superhuge, unless you want it to be. it means itll take longer and prolly wont look as good.

its up to you i guess. :U

Oh god, this looks so good.

Oh god, this looks so good. ♥ ;~;

I need to learn to make these. The detail in them is amazing. You're art is as lovely as always.

If you could toss in a character to the scene I'd definitely be interested in commissioning you for one of these.

i had plans to put a deer of some sort in this but then decided against it in the end.
I'm sure if i was commissioned, they would be big enough for the character to be properly put in. my pixel pieces are usually small. it makes it fun. but thank you ♥

i first need a paypal account 8/

would you have an estimate for how much i should charge for these. of course theyd be a bit bigger than this one and all. but they're so tedious just because of the way you have to make them and all. pixelsssss.
NoRegrets's picture

I'd go as much as for the

I'd go as much as for the time it takes for each piece. For something like your icon I could see someone paying anywhere under 10 USD~ the bigger they get the more you can ask for them, as pixel work is incredibly time consuming and tedious. You could try asking on dA and here even how much you should ask in commission, you'll get better feedback from a larger response pool.

c': im glad you like them, if i can decide on a price range and get a paypal account set up i will definitely accept commissions for them. i'd like to practice more though, like snow scene and such so that im more 'commissionable'
