10/7 - Been up to literally nothing so far, just straight chilling rn.

9/30 - Me @ Darci and Argus

9/28 - Woke up to Ibis clinging onto him, relieved that he didn't hate him or anything but now begins to wonder how he got here and if he was still being looked after by Ku. Went back to sleep with his face burried in Ibis's fluff. Stayed with Ibis for a full 2 days but had to leave to eat.

9/27 - Sat in a sunspot for the majority of the day and was visited by quite a few people. First Crescent, he gave a small bow to him, then he left, and was replaced Mar who sat there for a while who left and was then replaced by World Eater. Enjoy all of the company, and when he was finally left alone he went on a walk. Wandered along the edges of the birch and saw... Ibis?

???? Very confused, figured he either was going to stay in Ku's world or had passed due to his various illnesses. Either way, he was surprised, to say the least, slowly approaching him but he was not sneaky enough so he almost immediately alerted Ibis. Very apprehensive, didn't want to get too close but he was asked to come closer so he did. Eventually sat near him, and said nothing. Remembered that the last time he saw him was before he died and that Ibis had probably seen his corpse. Yikes, feels extremely sorry about that and understands seeing someone who he thought died would be rough. Wanted to say sorry but didn't, and tried not to even look at him too much because he felt so bad. Put his head down and fell asleep shortly after.

Personality

very calm, and collected,
doesn't lose composer easily,
favors quiet, and submissive company.
pacifist at most times; masochist at others

He often displays something that can seem like kindness as he is usually very gentlemanly around ones he finds delicate, attractive or fragile. He's not very interested in anyone who isn't pretty, needs help or will help him. He tends to have flings with pretty friends if he feels up to it, can be pretty affectionate to the right people.

Often he feels the need to protect those who are sick, weak or fragile, and has a bit of a liking for smaller or innocent-seeming individuals. Will hover around them and seek their friendship, and usually provide protection.

He romanticizes life, relationships, and emotions far too much. He over exaggerates his feelings and expects others to reciprocate them immediately. He will take personal and very deep offense if you don't share his feelings, or fail to recognize them.

He's quite selfish and only is kind so he can get what he wants from you. Even if it seems that he's putting you before himself this is highly unlikely. Unless you've managed to come very close to him.

Does NOT like to be touched without permission or consent, but likes to touch others. Unless he is sad, hurt or lonely, then he'll hoe it up. He'll smack you away if you touch him unwarranted.

Not really one to get jealous unless you're an object of fixation though doesn't mind you having other company or bringing them near him. He's not very possessive.

Tends to be too helpful, thinks he can fix everyone's personal problems at the drop of a hat and will insist no matter what to help. If someone looks sad it's his job to make them feel better.

Seems to have an infinite number of fake personas that he'll change to please whoever he's with. His manner of speech can change mature and modest to childish or casual depending. He may act casual and aloof with one and very formal and polite with another. His true persona will come out in moments of great emotional stress, really only Mjol may have come close to seeing the REAL Darcia (hint: he's a cry baby.)

He seems to like children but doesn't tend to adopt or foster any forest kids. He was only interested in being apart of his own two children's lives but realizes they've moved on and left. He hates that he was basically robbed of the fatherhood he so craved, but will literally never want to have children again.

Commonly gives out bird-related nicknames to those whose names he doesn't know... it's endearing, or something.

Some kind of pacifist who will avoid all physical conflict (unless he's feeling rather bad, in which he'll seek out pain. Bad coping mechanism yay). He'll never be an aggressor, and will simply LEAVE if you act like you're gonna lash out. Doesn't want any of that. On the off chance, he has to fight to protect one of his friends he'll be careless with himself, and mainly throw himself over them as a meat-shield of sorts. If you go looking for trouble and he can't escape he'll try to find a friend to protect him. If all hope is lost he'll just be a punching bag until you're done. Kind of a masochist but also doesn't necessarily enjoy pain. He just feels he deserves it sometimes even though he's always scared of it.

Lore

Technically Dacria isn't a vampire, but he's not entirely aware of what he is so he may call himself that from time to time. He seems to have sterotypical vampire-like traits, but he's not actually undead and he doesn't really drink blood.
Before committing suicide in his first 'life' as a human, he was given a proposition by the demon that now keeps him alive. He basically sold his soul to a demon, that watches over him and heals him. He can't die because he doesn't have a soul but he's not already dead because his body still functions as any alive creatures would. He can only consume raw meat, bones, and blood, as that's what the demon can consume.
He is, however, completely unaware of this as he's forgotten most if not all of his first life and the whole deal he made anyway. Which is why he's okay with people calling him a vampire and all that jazz. He just wants to be For Real dead at this point but the demon is having too much fun watching him suffer to let that happen.
He's weak to holy items because of the demon, so crosses or holy water will hurt him. But, no other stereotypical vampire weakness's affected him, garlic, light, and stakes to the heart are all ineffective.

Tid-bits

⚘ The red marks on his nose/eyes were originally made with his brother's blood, but after entering the forest it won't come off. However, when he leaves the forest it disappears.
⚘ Although he was born and lived in Scotland he's of Norweigan descent.
⚘ He can eat non-flesh related items but he'll barf it up later. It can't be digested.
⚘ He's around 1000 years old, and lived in 11th century northern Scotland.
⚘ His title 'the lord of nothing' is based on his original life, killing his brother to become the Lord of their land, but in the end, he left leaving the land behind.
⚘ He was married in his original life, but it was for politics. He often sought out others for affection and such, mainly men.
⚘ He never wanted children in his original life, but his brother did. He adopted that dream for his brother's sake.

5/5 - Met Cyrus, the little doggie, he was rude and teenagery, but interesting. Eventually bitten by Cyrus, the bite is heavily bruised on his shoulder, he's very slightly limping off it. hold no grudge against it, though wishes to forget about him also biting the dog. dogs do NOT taste good.

found a small, adorable, little deer sitting alone[dollface]. sat near him, and soon the other got up and sat closer. he got up, said hello as did the other. more greetings and such, then another deer[nosoi] came up and greeted them. he stayed with their company until doggie[cyrus] joined them, he bounded over and said heeeeey to doggie. they all met. romping and sitting for a long while.

// Darcia calmly trotted through the sun filtered forest. Another day of rest, scoping out possible sitting spots. The canopy of trees letting down an almost heavenly array of sun, hitting his coat and deep charcoal hair. Coral eyes gazing out, watching closely for any creature of interest as he quietly traveled on light feet. The weather was nice enough, a small breeze blowing through, countering the warm burn of the noon sun just barely.

The stag came to a slow stop eyeing a sun spot next to a few logs, he nodded to himself and sat down after a few circles of the area to check for stones or insects. He held his head high, his thick fluffy neck making the pose almost look regal. On purpose of course, he didn't want to look sloppy or tired, he wanted any and all peers to be intrigued by him and wander over for a nice relaxing conversation. Oddly this rarely ever happened and it was he who had to rudely approach others to get any social time at all.

It was a shame, but he got passed, perhaps he was too imitating for some. He chuckled lightly at the thought, letting his eyelids slowly close for a moment to enjoy the warmth poring over his bright orange pelt.

Darcie didn't often like to rest in the sun, her dark pelt made the heat stick to her in the most uncomfortable ways. But today, with the breeze blowing over she simply couldn't resist. Her ears twisted with the sounds of passing deer. She was rarely ever disturbed.. She had learned at a young age that it was hard to make friends in this forest. And when you did make friends, they had a strange habit of vanishing.

Her ears turned backward as the sound of hooves came closer. Eventually stopping very near to her. She opened her eyes and blinked a few times to clear the haze from sleep away. She peered over the log to see who had chosen the same resting spot. A deer she hadn't seen before, it would seem, she would remember that... mane, for certain.

She tilted her head, and put on her best friendly expression, "Hello!"

He gave a small bow with only his head and neck. He carefully studied the doe, taking note of her colors as he rose from the bow. He quickly moved his gaze back to her face trying not to make it seem as if he was impolitely staring.

A small smile played across her lips, she dipped her head by way of returning his bow. She adjusted her sitting position so that she was facing his direction. With the log separating them she could see why he hadn't noticed her at first.

"I tend to blend in, so no worries." She said with a nonchalant shrug. "I hope you don't mind the company, my name is Darcie." She said with another soft smile. Normally she would try to move away if she noticed someone wanting to have a resting spot, but then sun was just too tempting to give up today.

The orange stag lowered himself back down, settling in next to the log, next to the doe. He kept himself faced towards her, with a kind expression. He let out a small chuckle, nodding.
"If you say so," he said, letting the 'so' drag a bit on his tongue. Honestly he was appalled at himself for not noticing her there, she wasn't even a natural color, she barely blended in. [AND THAT IS GOOD, YES HOT WOW HOT, are you happy acer] He kept a toothy smirk, and cocked his head questioning.

"Darcie? Haha! How odd, my name is Darcia ," he spoke very quickly after her, "What a coincidence, are names are almost identical."

Darcie watched as he settled back into his spot. She always enjoyed company from others, whether that of friends or strangers. She hadn't come across a good conversation in awhile now. Her ears perked forward at the sound of her name, and she laughed along with him at the coincidence of their names. "Well, I guess it was simply fate that you found me here." She said with a warm, lopsided grin. "It's my pleasure to meet you, Darcia." She said, dipping her head again as a polite gesture.

"And I you", he replied smoothly, coral eyes fixed on her deep purple coat. He took in a deep breath, his eyes darting from her to the tree tops to watch little finches, and crows flutter about above them as usual, leaving bird-esque shadows across the sun spot. His eyes again landed on the doe, this time her face.
He tucked his legs more underneath him, and slunk down farther. His fluffy neck acted as almost a chin pillow as he lowered his face to set on the log. His eyes didn't leave her face for a moment before he opened his mouth again,
"So, little starling, how has today been treating you? I myself have been having a rather dull day, though it seems to be looking up as they say the more the merrier."
