Now with the suiting comment from dA (just copy pasted it XD)

I found myself falling in love with the dragon designs of Skyrim
quite some time ago already, especially the Blood Dragons.
So much, that I own a mod by now, allowing to tame
and keep the beasts of Skyrim and of course I call a Blood Dragon my "own" now.

Well here is the result *points above*
Anatomical liberty is taken, so you better don't use this as reference... or for anything at that matter.
Tips, tricks, advice and/or critique is welcome.

Mmm I like this piece. A LOT.

Mmm I like this piece. A LOT. Everything about this is so very compelling, from the pose and the anatomy to the style and the perspective. The tiny veins on the wings, the ridges on the dragon's neck and head and especially the coloration are beautiful details that mustn't be overlooked. But the lighting and the atmosphere it creates are definitiely my favourite parts, there is just something about it that doesn't let you look away. Great work!

@Okami: Because a screencap would look better : D *is beaten up for this comment* But yes, this is a blood dragon from Skyrim. I love that type and had to give it a try to capture the feeling when they directly fly above you.
