He moved through the trees, crushing branch and leaf alike under translucent cloven hooves. The sheer size of the animal caused his fur to snag against the bark of trees surrounding his path, leaving his sides thin of the luxurious soft wire that coated them in the colors of dead leaves. Joints seemed to click as the beast bore his own weight and build, that of a long-forgotten
giant.
The nose of a deer exhaled steam, rimmed with the spikes of a
boar. A single, warped spike protruded from the beast's forehead, slicing the thick winter air from chin to navel as it lowered its head for a long drink of icy water. The beast let out a series of grunts as it smacked itself a long, cool drink. Gobs of water escaped past the corners of its hybrid mouth but the beast paid no heed, for he would still slake his thirst around his long tusks.
Frost clung thickly to the dead leaf colors of his shoulders as Barboro again traveled through the forest, leaving prints even in the frozen earth. The beast's long, boar-like tail swayed, sweeping the ground behind him to balance the heavy head in front. Large, chocolate eyes scanned the landscape around him before closing in content. The stone walls were soon at his side, and Ro leaned against them to rest his muscular legs a little bit.
From far away nobody would expect his looks to be so gruesome. From far off he looks to be a normal unicorn, deerlike with a gothic-style tail and a spiraling horn. It is only when you start to get close, or when the beast moves that he truly becomes gruesome. The tusks, two sticking out and two growing through the bridge of his deer-like nose, turn him partway in to a beast. Often, Barboro tries to keep them whittled down, but they grow so quickly. He will one day lose the battle with those tusks as they grow in to his skull and pierce his brain, leaving a slow death coupled with insanity as his future.
Concept for a new character I think I am going to keep. Let me know what you think of him~! <3
