I'm not sure if it's purposeful or not, but I've noticed, and I'm not the only one, that your artwork bears an odd resemblance to miss Narina's, especially in the tongue, skull, and fur areas.
It's flattering to know that people like your art, but at the same time, I'm certain it doesn't feel very good to have your creativity stolen by someone else.
I'm certain that if you worked at it, you could find a gorgeous style all your own. Without copying the style of others.
There is, after all, a difference between being inspired, and blatant stealing.

Also, in your DA gallery I find some pieces with anatomy that's pretty much the same as my personal style. It bugs me a little. I was going to note you about this whole thing but I'll say it here now, then.
It is okay to take influences from other artists that you admire, but stealing their drawing style alltogether - well, just like Vandetta said.
It's nice being admired but I bet Narina doesn't appreciate the above mentioned either. :/

I got started back on art because of Narina. Is that such a bad thing? I'll never be able to draw like her, and that's the cold truth. But I'm still on the road to finding my style and I think harsh comments that that are extremely discouraging.

First of all, I love to say I love this. The way you make the words ooze and drip down the walls of white make me wonder what it was she wanted.

Look close to your artwork. Then look at hers. I did this not too long ago, and I see NO resemblance whatsoever. It looks NOTHING like Nari's or yours, Quam. I see it as her own style. Maybe she used anatomy from a deer magazine, like I do, or maybe she was just trying to get her anatomy right. As for the fur, I don't see how it's the same. It's totally different. Maybe she just wants to learn how to do it so she can apply it to her future style or to tweak it a bit so that it's completely her own. Maybe it was Unplugged's scanned guides that helped her. There is no reason to harass her about this. I see nothing similar to either of yours or Nari's designs. Maybe she and Nari talked and maybe Nari encouraged her to draw again, so she did. I'm not going to nose into her business and ask her where she got the anatomy references or whatever. It's not my business. So please, reconsider what you wrote. I know this may sound mean to you two, but give her a chance to explore. About everyone gets harassed when their artwork looks similar to someone else's when there's nothing the same of them. I know I've been harassed and accused of stealing someone's style nearly three times. I gave up on drawing forever ago. But look, I still draw now, and I've created my own style, although it changes so much and may look like someone else's, maybe someone I've never heard of. Then fingers get pointed at me. Anyway, enough of this rambling, it's not like my thought on this is going to do any good.
