A tiny thing.

EDIT:

Redid her, since the previous one made me cry. >8/

I don't know why I drew this; I just felt kinda spurred to draw what Lacie might have looked like as a baby deer. Black spots on a white coat; SHE JUST BLENDS IN SO WELL, DOESN'T SHE!? /sarcasm

Back legs look like shit, I know. I got so fed up with them honestly. I might colour this at some point, not sure though. Since I can't colour to save my life.

I wanna draw her as a baby Thylacine too, but man, they're such a pain, rofl. ;;

And while I'm at it..

Incredibly rough sketch of Salaawa. I'll be cleaning and fixing this up over time. God, why does everyone else's sketches look amazing, and mine look like shit? ;;

What do you mean?! They are both lovely, the pose on this one is so cute, I imagine her lying down on her side looking up. The sketch of Salaawa is my favourite of the two though, she looks so fluffy c:

One suggestion for sketching

One suggestion for sketching is to avoid 'petting' your lines. Rather than making many short marks, try to focus on one long, continuous line. If you're having difficulty, think of how you are holding your pencil. If you're gripping it tightly in your fingers, you'll have less fluid movements than if you are drawing from your elbow or shoulder and not your fingers. (drawing from your fingers is better for small details and control)

The more you use your tools, the more you will develop "muscle memory" and the faster you will be able to work.

I don't strive to be the best, but instead I strive to do my best, and always give it my all every time.

eyestrain - I suppose I mind

eyestrain - I suppose I mind as well tell you my lame excuse.

I draw with a mouse. I don't possess a tablet, nor does it look like I'll be acquiring one any time soon. I don't like drawing on one long continuous line because I have no control over it. It comes out incredibly jagged and uneven. The only time I would try something like that is if I have to fix one tiny line.

I think that's why I end up petting my lines; because otherwise my hand just shakes when trying to make one line with the mouse. fksfkskfs
