I just wanna say thank you to the two frisky fawns that played with me today. I thought I had a picture of you both but apparently it didn't take...
I hope I get to meet you again. Read the story below and see if you recognize me:
Today was only my second day in the forest. I've been a little overwhelmed with all the actions and places, this being my first time playing any type of RPG (or whatever this game is lol). The adult deer have all been very polite, but I've been finding myself rather lonely since I couldn't get anyone to interact with me for very long...
But today I came upon the shrines of the Gods for the first time and found three beautiful white deer worshiping at it's feet. Cautiously I approached, afraid to disrupt what I didn't understand, but the largest and most stunning of the three came to me. A magnificent stag with massive antlers and a masked face. He cast magic and suddenly I became white as well! I couldn't believe it.
Afraid I would wear out my welcome, I silently hovered away from the three who all seemed to know one another. But you, young fawn, kept coming up to me and showing affection, turning me white over and over again every time my dull brown returned.
So I followed you when you ran away. I was fully expecting you to turn around and get angry with me but you didn't. If I stopped you would call to me, and so we ran and played around and around one another, keeping ourselves white as we jumped from rock to rock.
Eventually I tried to lead you, wondering if you'd follow me in return. And you did! You stayed with me the whole time and so I put violet flowers on you head in order to recognize you (since I sometimes have trouble seeing the symbols above heads) haha I cant believe you kept them
We ended up coming to the pond where a HUGE posse of fawns gathered. It was awesome as we all just hung together, prancing and playing. Adults would approach us and look on in confusion. One even actually shook his head, as if to say "silly fawns and their games" hahaha
We split from the group but found that we had acquired another fawn companion. You, second fawn, stuck with us as we three raced through the trees. Like the three musketeers we banded together in affection and understanding, laughing at one another in good natured fun.
You especially, flower head (since I don't have your symbol lmao) thought it was HILARIOUS putting ridiculous masks over and over on my face
. But i figured out how to do it as well eventually and we all had a ball putting stupid faces on one another. So childish but amazing. XD
Finally, after a substantial amount of romping and stupidity you lay down my first friend. I looked at you confused and the next thing I knew you had disappeared... you had left the game and I was very sad... I stood by your spot, confused and unsure of what to do, but the other, my second friend, urged me on to continue. So we left and played for a while longer until I had to go as well...
But how could I convey to you without words that I didn't WANT to leave but that I had to? I tried shaking my head, showing sadness... I stood there at the altar where it had all began and stared at you, desperate to make you understand as you bleated at me to follow. But you lowered your head sadly and walked away slowly in defeat.
"NO!" I thought, frantically, "I don't want you to think I'm tired of you!" So I jumped up and ran after you, placing myself in front of your face and shaking my head. I nuzzled you in comfort and then lay down right there, hoping that you would get the picture. You stared for a moment, and then lay beside me. I lowered my head finally to rest at your shoulder...
When I awoke at a later time you were gone as expected. I'm going to start logging off at the same place every time from now on- by the birdcage in the ruins. I hope if either of you read this you'll come and find me...
This game is so interesting... so new. Finding ways to communicate without words and making friends with strangers... I can't wait to meet and interact with more of you!
Thank you, stags for making me feel welcome. I look forward to seeing you all again in the forest!!
