The Magonply

Magpie + dragonfly = magonply?

Painted this for Sarie as part of my Secret Santa gift to her. I went symbolic with it by combining the creatures that represent our two deer that are together (Magnet and Aspen), and making it look like it was carrying their pictos.
Not my original idea, but I'm happy with it.

A Sweet Buck

I went to the Bayou Wildlife Park near Alvin, Texas today and had a really good time. This buck in particular was very sweet and enjoyed chin rubs immensely. I thought you would all like this picture.

Merry Christmas! <3

Just a few tips:

*Don't give up if you dont like it, leave it for ten minutes and then go back to it. It helps you see where you have gone wrong. This is not the same as starting again, if your picture is beyond repair do not be afraid of starting again it will be better second time round Smiling

*Always, always credit any photos you use as reference <--- Never trace the photos. It will not help you improve and can amount to art theft, photos have the same protection and it is the same as drawing over someone elses picture.
