Figured I'd share part of the reason I haven't been on much. I' signed up for my first painting class this year and this is my midterm project (any subject/any style).
Feel like there are a few things I could still change, but I am really proud of how its coming along.
Acrylics on canvas (~4/5 hours work)

Mystery Necklace, Help?

My mother gave me this interesting necklace a while ago, but all the elephants/mammoths? weren't all connected; so I had to use some of my magical fixing abilities to attached them. But, there are no markings on it so I no idea who made it or what it's of . . .

I question if they are elephants or mammoths because they are 'fuzzy' . . . like little hairs were designed on them. Shocked

Can't figure out what culture it derives from there.

Thoughts?

My best friend's puppy broke her leg last week after a bad fall; so now she is stuck in a silly pink cast that's covered in hearts. c:
So, I decided to draw her something to make her feel better and thought it was cute enough to share to everyone.

And here is the silly girlie with her adorable pink cast.
HAHA.

Maia is a 9month old Lab/Husky mix.

So I was drawing a background, and adding a random deer, when it dawned on me I would rather draw with a purpose instead.
SO!
If any of you would like to volunteer your deer, someone else's deer, or a deer in general, I would be most delighted to draw them. Smiling
Just leave a bio page or ref in the comments below, and I shall pick the one that calls to me. And when the picture is done, I shall post it here with links to the deer by itself and one with the background.
