Mystery Necklace, Help?

My mother gave me this interesting necklace a while ago, but all the elephants/mammoths? weren't all connected; so I had to use some of my magical fixing abilities to attached them. But, there are no markings on it so I no idea who made it or what it's of . . .

It is possible that it is based off of an Indian piece or style; however, I believe it's definitely fairly recently made (within the last half-century) and only as an imitation/emulation of another style.
Here is a photograph of the back of an elephant which shows exactly how furry they can be. And... Here is a piece of Asian art depicting a furry elephant. Though not Indian, they're a fairly popular animal throughout that section of the world, really.
It's possible someone was a
You have a point there
Something I'd want to design a character for, just so I can wear the necklace.
