Benevolence has an irrational, unexplainable fear of nameless deer. Just the thought of them sends a hair-raising shiver down his spine. His favorite place to hide from them is the big old oak tree. He believes the forest spirits who create the low humming sound coming from the old tree protect him and ward off all deer with evil intentions.
