I felt like being a Pudu.

there have been few deer i have noticed and respected over the near five years i've taken silent refuge in the Forest off and on, but none of those i have respected more than Iaurdagnire. i have long regarded him as a sort of 'father' of the Forest; a strong, wise, and brave soul who could lead anyone should the need arise. Xiphias often found solace beside his grand size, dozing in the evenings. though fleeing a bit fearfully whenever he woke, he was always a great source of comfort and nostalgia, knowing that some things in the Forest never change.

i've wanted to draw Dag for quite some time now, years, really, but i was never comfortable enough with my skills to actually go through with it until now. i'm making this its own post out of respect, too, because i think he deserves it, and i hope everyone can enjoy it.


fun note; i considered drawing Xiphias beside him and the size difference was amazingly adorable but also laughable...

Got randomly inspired to do this, past and present Corvus.

Basically Corvus from a few years ago before things snowballed, and him today where things are slowly un-snowballing.

This also made me go through my old TEF art (DISGRUNTLED NOISE) and I came across a couple of real old art pieces that I'd done of what I'd thought older Corvus'd look like, it was kind of interesting because most of them had him being crabby and he didn't turn out that way. He's rather apathetic instead.
