“I failed you Polt…I promised to help them….but they are now…grown.”
This is an art announcing Corvus’s hiatus. Yep, Corvus is going to be out of Forest for a while. I am unsure when he will be back.
I deemed this important enough to bring onto the Community site as I am pretty sure there are friends of Corvus who do not go on the TEF forums or are on my DA, and I do not want them to be confused. Once again, I will state I am not back. I’m merely here to announce this.
Only a small handful knew I was going to be doing this, so please don’t get annoyed that I did not tell you. This was going to be part of a secret, bigger plan, however it fell through for reasons unbeknownst to me which leads me to my next point. I am indeed breaking my roleplay rules here by having Corvus be aware that Polt’s fawns have grown up. Usually I would have it roleplayed to him so he would know, but due to aforementioned problematic events, the roleplay and original plan in which Corvus would find out about this was tossed aside and I was left uninformed, forced me to go off on my own accord as Corvus can’t not know forever.
Corvus is temporarily leaving the forest as he is incredibly mentally unstable and I would not be able to play him/would not be fun for me to play him in such a broken way. This discovery of the fawns being grown, and him not fulfilling Polt’s promise has hurt him incredibly deeply as Polt was his first, closest and best friend in the forest and he feels that he has betrayed her.
I rarely saw the fawns inforest throughout the time they were born to now (two or three encounters at most), and thus Corvus was not able to properly interact with them as had been planned. This has Corvus being severely broken down and unable to be himself and this final discovery of the now adult fawns has tipped him over the edge.
