2 hours spent looking up references and playing with anatomy, 1 1/2 hour spent coloring/designing.

Oryx Antelope / Nyala Antelope hybrid.

Felt motivated to draw Ravenflight again after the battle for Iaurdagnire. This image would take place a few months after the great battle. Most of the does scars had healed and feathers had grown back, except an old scar on her throat that was re-forged. I guess that becomes a veteran symbol to her now. Looking a lot more healthier here as well, put some weight back on. Perhaps she is travelling here in this image. Perhaps with another? Thought about toying around with some ideas for a "crown" of sorts for her too. I think she deserves one.

I love the possibilities. This was fun to paint nonetheless.

The lion has come to the forest following the ravenous beasts he calls his prey.

He will not turn his teeth and claws on the deer of the forest, only the forces seeking to destroy them.
