Spirits in the Wind - FaunGrae's Edition

After the discussion I had with FaunGrae on the Positivity Blog about spirit animals, I decided to draw her spirit animals.

Here's my animals

-----------------

About each animal and their importance to FaunGrae:

Red Tail Hawk- Visited me often, taught me the value of hard work and to always take the time to enjoy the wind on my face

Deer- I often find myself in close encounters with wild deer. They taught me to keep my eyes open and not expect surprises. Also, they taught me that life is beautiful from conception until after death and to cherish life even when you have to make hard choices.

Horse- Horses taught me to listen to everything and everyone around me. They taught me about instinct and how it plays a role in decision. They are the main animal associated with my childhood.

Cat- Cats taught me to think and relax. I have found out from them the value a good purr and stretch can have for a person.

Coyote- My spirit guide. Coyote is helping me learn how to laugh at myself and to roll with the punches. I have been chased by this animal before both irl and in my dreams, and Coyote really tests me a lot. He has definitely used his shapeshifter side, appearing to me as several different animals with the same inner-presence, but feeling complete once he came to me in his true form.

Spirits in the Wind - Art Project (Finished)

Well after the discussion I had with FaunGrae on the Positivity Blog about spirit animals, I wanted to draw a group picture of my animals.

Here they are without the background

--------------------------------------

About each animal and their importance to me:

Deer - My favorite animal. I rarely get to see them due to where I live on the coast, but the ones I've seen in zoos and parks have made my heart melt. Deer reminds me to keep my mind open and to appreciate all forms of beauty.

Goat - Another favorite animal, I've loved them for being so peaceful and optimistic. Getting to feed goats and pet their fur reminds me that I need to stay positive and smile every day. They also remind me to enjoy the little things in life.

Goose - My totem animal, an animal who represents loyalty and humility. Geese are compassionate and will never abandon a friend in need. I still have many lessons I need to learn from them.

Hummingbird - Visited me last year, and since then I have been obsessed with them. I put a feeder out for them and love watching them come and drink. Hummingbirds inspire me and I've learned important lessons of determination and encouragement from them.

Cardinal - A favorite songbird that often visits me in my back yard. I enjoy watching them feed, their feathers sporting my favorite color. They remind me that my burdens hold me down and that true freedom is within grasp.

Wolf - Was an animal I hated for a long time, but over time I grew to appreciate them. Wolf has especially taught me to be open-minded and respectful, and also to accept myself for who I am.

Something Other Than Remaining

Not really sure where I even got the muse to do a drawing. Let alone something of this calibre.

Oddly relaxing.

Drawn for Faustt on TEF. Their character Ciel.
Idk. I just feel really generous. Maybe I can make someone else happy seeing as making myself happy is a little bit difficult at the moment.

Yo Faust. Ive emailed you the full size version. Which isn't thaaaaat big.
But it is bigger.
