So hey this idea just came to me--
what if we try getting more pelts into TEF that come from exotic, little known animals? And no I don't mean some subspecies of wolf or wildcat. I mean genuinely barely known exotic animals that are endangered.
So exotic I can't actually think of any right now.
But yeah I was just thinking--could we do something like that to help raise endangered animal awareness? I mean you've got soooo many people freaking out over the Siberian tiger and the gray wolf, but there's only a few looking after the coatimundi or the honduran white tent bat or the ghost bat or the Galapagos tortoise and the list just goes on and on.
I don't know if the coatimundi is actually endangered I just know it's a very little known species.
Food for thought.
This a set I made after I saw people talking about more animal spell morphs and the possibility of a wolf-mask game of tag. I just thought--hey. We have bird masks. And griffins are cool.
I can work with that.
I made the antlers wings since we can't actually have wings. And Bateleur eagle wings are lovely to look at, and you can't see much of them if they're folded up, which was my alternative if I was going to work it into the actual pelt design somehow.
I chose a Bateleur eagle because golden and bald eagles seem to be terribly overused.
I wanted to put more time into filling out the wings at the bottom of the picture and I also wanted to get a more obscure cat for the "lion" half, but I have other art I'm supposed to be doing for a friend that I promised to do today and I haven't even started yet ;.;
Bad Thadd. Bad, bad Thadd.
