Kaoori glanced at the large stag, staring at him for a moment, as if something registered- then looked away blandly. If anything had clicked in her mind, it did not matter to her at the moment. She curled up, slowly falling into a light sleep.
----
Takeshi sighed. At least his mother had eaten a bit, which was more than before. Little steps, he thought. He stood, pacing around her, looking back to the larger stag.
"Takeshi...I'm so worried about your mom...I wish there was something I could do. But I guess she just wants to be alone now... At least you're there to watch out for her. I'd say thank you for that, but I guess it's not really needed. She means a lot to me, you know..."
Archelius watched as Kaoori soon drifted into sleep. What she might have mentally registered in that brief moment would remain unknown to him for the time being. He soon notices Takeshi looking back at him. He returns the look, and gives a nod. "She'll be well again soon, in your care." he states. It seemed the small steps were going to be the best in this situation. He takes a few steps, and takes a seat beside one of the many headstones around the area. He then rests his head against one of the crosses, ears twitching in response to the voices of ghosts all around them. He does not open his extra eyes however; managing to get by as if they don't exist, even though he needed at least one of the extras to actually see the ghosts around them as more than transparent silhouettes and his more visible mother.
Paz: "I'll make sure nothing happens to her, Aunt. She'll be alright, especially when she sees Father again. He'll.. make everything right." Takeshi tried to sound reassuring, but it was hard for him when he still looked to his parents to be his own rock.
Zerg:
Takeshi settled beside his mother, looking much like his father in proud posture as he sat protectively beside her. It was the least he could do for her, not knowing what else could be done. He sniffed the air, ears perked in all directions, alert for any changes in the forest. Then he relaxed a little.
Arch remains on the full alert, even as Takeshi relaxes, albet only a little. It wasn't that there is any indication of trouble around, but only his nature to be on guard. The raven Laghodessa finally leaves her perch, and transplants herself onto one of Arch's practaclly glowing red antlers, black feathers blending with faint black mist, blue eyes shining like sapphire suns in the dark. He has no actual knowledge yet on Takeshi's father, nor does he think to ask about Wesker. He glances at the moon overhead, momentarilly thinking about the europian legends surrounding it. "Hope the day comes again soon." he mutters.
Paz:
Takeshi returned the nuzzle to his Aunt. She's lucky to have you, too.. you know. She'll make it through this. I know she will. She's strong.
Zerg:
It was probably a good thing the two deer beside Arch were not truly focused on their surroundings this night.
Takeshi closed his two-tone eyes, dozing off for a moment, then shaking himself awake. He looked up at the sky, seeing the night stars, some new ones seeming particularly bright. This is your favorite westher, Mother.. it -is- beautiful in twilight, in the summer.
As time passes, he relaxes a little more, eventually only staring off at the distance thoughtfully. At the sound of Takeshi's voice, he seems to snap out of his metaphorical trance, and looks at the twilight sky. The bright new stars capture his attention. "Seems the heavens have a new angel, tonight." he states, before resting his head back against the stone cross.
"She ran from you, too? She fought with Walter yesterday...I tried to stop them...Then she collapsed and he went after me instead." She winced from the pain of her wounds, though she tried to ignore it. "But I don't care what happens to me right now. I've never seen her like this... I don't know what to do..."
Takeshi growled. Walter... stupid, stupid old man. onore. I.. don't know what's wrong with her, but I don't think she'd run from my father. I hope he can at least talk to her, look at her wounds..
