I was going to post a drawing I was working on as my first post here on TEF, but when I first saw this little fawn picture on my search engine I smiled brightly and found it adorable and got myself distracted with how cute it was, I sent it to my friend who is also a member here and suggested I posted it here. I was giggly getting it ready, till I actually noticed the story attached to it, after reading it I became upset by it especially since I live in a state where I see deer almost once a week. it is sad to see something so sweet and new to the world hunted down like a monster .... but the truth of the matter it is also not wise to pick up a baby fawn or any animal really that is from the wild which is what the girl did.
Sunny the Fawn's story
this is the story pasted to it the second part is in the article. really it just makes me sad even though this story happened back in 2009, it still makes me upset what the government is wasting their money and time on. though the girl made the mistake of taking the baby home the government really shouldn't of been blowing this out of proportions like they ended up doing.
The Truth After the Fact
The story does finish but it is a lesson learned for all, do not pick up strange animals no matter how cute they are. it is hard to say that and actually do it but it is the best thing to do for them and us.
Strange I found this all in one cute picture.
