The fawn jumped up as the deer spoke.It flicked it's ears back as a huge shadow came closer.
"Do not run.",said the deer as the fawn was about to flee.

The fawn didn't move,nor speak.

The stag slowly turned and started walking away.The fawn,however remained were it was.
Are you going to stand there forever or what?,said the the stag after a few minutes.
The fawn did not move.It was staring at the deer,the dark olive colored stag.
...Well?,said the stag.He was already loosing patience.
As a few more minutes passed and no reply came from the fawn,the shadow murmured something about harsh kids and gods not thinking and galloped off.

The stag/shadow is ?'s "guide".He only exists in her mind,none else can see/hear/notice him in the forest or anywhere.He will guide ? through the forest until she grows up...He can not leave her until -she- decides he can (:
