Have been thinking that I should find my oil-paints again...
Just some sketches which might be fun to paint sometime. Don´t know when I have time to actually do anything, though.. Meh.
I kind of like these anyway, so I´m posting these instead.

Some pictures inside, warning for one maybe more macabre drawing on the bottom. =P

Trees!! Shocked These images are so pretty and artistic. <3 I think I might have said so before but I really wish I had vision like yours.

The bottom one in particular is unforgettable. It reminds me of that story of the nightingale and the rose by Oscar Wilde ;_; I really really would love to see at least that one colored, I think it would be even more beautiful.

gurgelin, Haha, yeah I´m pretty obsessed with branches at the moment...
Never heard that story, what is it about? Though the writer´s name sounds awfully familiar..
I might end up painting some of these if I have time. Now I´m actually even a bit anxious to do it. ^^;

Sypris, That´s an interesting idea... I have been kind of thinking of a tattoo but haven´t gotten one so far, maybe I end up having something like these in the distant future!

It's been my favorite story since childhood but it always makes me cry ;_;
In my story book it comes with this picture and.. and yeah. It's not really the same as yours... but it gives me the same feeling.

gurgelin, it really was a sad

gurgelin, it really was a sad and beautiful story... thank you for sharing, I might have read a similar fairytale a long ago, but couldn´t remember it.
"...and what is the heart of a bird compared to the heart of a man?" More noble, modest, selfless and self-sacrifising at least, it seems... The picture also was beautiful. I can see the resemblance in the bottom sketch, was worrying it turned out more macabre that I was meaning it to be, happy if you managed to see some beauty in it anyway.

These are all very nice. The first begs for paint, but the rest stand well as graphite drawings.

That story crushed me.

Eyestrain, Thank you! The first one was the one I was almost going to paint, but then got stuck thinking the backround-color... it will be quite silhuet-like even then if I manage to get it done though.

Agreed, must be one of saddest stories ever.
