Saosin sat next to me and shivered. I couldn't tell exactly what he was shivering about, but I could sense the nearby wolves. that was probably the reason why he was sooo afraid. The wolves were raging throughout the forest. thier red eyes gleaming through the darkness. the next second I closed my eyes, saosin was gone. At first I thought I was just dreaming, but then it really happened. I saw myrfor standing right in front of me, his red eyes gleaming in hunger. my bones felt cold under the sweat of fear. Instead of running, I had someone to thank. that would be hakilu. He saved my life from joaro once, but now I had to return the favor. myrfor had been chasing hakilu for a long time. I had to kill myrfor. so I got up on my hind legs and snapped him in the face. He took two seconds to recover and I lashed at him again, but he dodged me and grouled. His eyes froze me and I couldn't move. before I knew it he lashed at me, but the only thing I saw was blood dribbling down my side. changed my ways and stood next to myrfor. He looked at me like I was crazy, and scrached me cold. I lie on my side and wait for my death but then I was healed and looked throught the shadows. I felt so weak a moment before when myrfor was here but now I was strong again as I waited for saosin to come back I saw kaori. She told me saosin had been with hakilu the whole time I was here. I stood and still could tell she was lying because she always twitched her nose when she lied. I didn't tell her that she was lying and stood and waited for saosin. He then came around the corner of the great ruins and said," you have saved us all from myrfor, you shall be praised." of course I wasn't looking for thanks but he still bowed to me anyway as a piont of graditude. I have much to be thankful for after that day, but I will always remember that battle with myrfor and the heart of the ruins.
