I will admit this is not mine.

I don't normally have faith in anything, not god, nor good nature or people. The only thing I believed in was the savagery of beasts and the beauty of that savagery. The beast is raw power with it's life clear in precise. The only morals it has is the moral of its own life and it's own kind.

But when I see a sunrise as pure and blurred and amazing as this, I doubt my previous beliefs and I begin to believe in something good.

When you see a beautiful

When you see a beautiful scene, created by a natural phenomenon explainable by science, you start to think of the super natural?

That doesn't make any sense! Sticking out tongue

Also, wild animals do have 'morals'. The piranha is a good example of this. Despite being labeled a 'ferocious' and 'indiscriminate' killer, piranha never attack or hurt each other in a feeding frenzy. There is an order to it, because they know that the only way to properly survive, is to not fight one another, but feed together with order to better the species chances of survival. Smiling
This is the same as morals in humans. If we all murdered each other, then there would be no chance for survival. If we all stole from one another, then we'd all be out of money, and distrust one another.

If you look were the gold and light blue meet, it looks like a clawed hand reaching down. There is also another "Hand" across from that. Just felt like pointing that out, but anyways really cool picture.

Acually, now that I think about it, I think that's a quote from somewhere. Sticking out tongue

It's a commonly spoken topic. I didn't intend for it to be a quote, if it is I apologize. I do not believe it's a quote though...

The 'Savagery of beasts' specifically sounds very familiar.

Well please do let me know if

Well please do let me know if you can think of it. I searched and the only thing that came close was The Lord of the Flies...which I've never read.

You can double check here at a plagarism checker..and you can search for your own checker if you like. Let me know what you find out. When I ran the check no plagarism was reported.

Oh no no! Don't get me wrong!
I don't mean that you plagerized it, just that it sounds familiar. Sticking out tongue

Maybe it was Lord of the flies that it reminded me of.

I'm sorry if I seemed

I'm sorry if I seemed bitter..it was just bothering me that I couldn't figure out where it was from either. If I had accidentially plagarized I would've felt bad about it.

Once, my mother and I drove

Once, my mother and I drove across the country. After many nights of travel, we were driving through Wyoming. The wind was terrible. We wanted to stop and rest for the night, but every hotel or motel had been booked for a hundred miles around, due to a huge rodeo event. So we kept driving in the pitch dark and the wind. We came to a road under construction, all torn up. The dirt was blown around and smacked our car, the wind was so fierce it rocked the car. It felt like we were going to be blown over. The only light was our headlights, the rest of the world was a black wind storm.
I am afraid of the wind. The experience was deeply uncomfortable and frightening to me.
For some reason, just when I'd convinced myself I would die there, I looked out of the window to a place high in the sky. Everywhere else was cloudy. But the one place I looked, there was a hole in the wind and dirt and clouds.
Through the hole were clear and glimmering stars shining brightly through the black night.

My worries were instantly quieted, my fears relieved.

This was the only time in my life I felt I encountered a higher power directly. It was mysterious, and burned itself into me.

I don't strive to be the best, but instead I strive to do my best, and always give it my all every time.
