Riley felt Nabi's presence beside him and he glanced at her, to make sure she was ok. He lowered his head and peered inside the Great Oak, then stepped into the darkness. He sank down onto the mossy floor in relief, leaning against one side of the trunk.

Haha, sorry about Riley being a bit of a show-off, he is trying to impress all the does 'cause it's nearly the rut.

Nabi gave a smile as he looked at her, and she followed the stag into the great oak. The scent of aged wood flooded her nostrils, making her sigh a breath of releif. The floor was damp and very earthy smelling. Nabi sat close to Riley after shaking the rain from her fur. "Ahh. This sure does help." She closed her eyes and raised her head somewhat. She knew that thr rut was soon, and she has no reason to wish to participate. She wasn't one who enjoys such ruckus. SHe had recently come into season, though. Her scent has changed.

Nabi gave a slight look of discust at the question. "Heh. No, I am not in the Rut. It's rather repulsive, if you don't my opinoin." She gave a dignified huff and flicked her head to the side. She wondered why on earth he would want to be in the Rut. What on obscure thing to be involved with!

Riley smiled and shrugged,"I suppose that, yes, I partly joined for the sparring."He paused for a moment, glancing at Nabi before answering the second question, "Well.. yes.. A doe called Nabi, although I doubt she likes me as much as I do her, so I must take account of that." He looked at her curiously, wondering what her reaction would be.

Riley raised an eyebrow, "I think you would be very surprised." He met her gaze firmly. Then he smiled, "Maybe you should tell him?"

Riley pretended to look thoughtful, "And maybe we should stop playing games?" He shrugged, "And yes, I should tell her." Riley tilted his head and regarded her, "I like you. A lot. So.. I guess that translates into 'I love you'.." He smiled, "I told her.

Riley sighed and looked at her, "Are you surprised or was it obvious?"

Riley smiled slightly as she blushed and gave her a little nuzzle, "Oh good, I like surprising deer. And I'm glad you are glad, otherwise we might be in a little trouble.."

Riley looked away to hide the sympathy and worry in his eyes, "Ok, but if you ever need anything that I can do.."

Riley looked at her and smiled reassuringly, "I should have known to let your family be together, but I wanted to make sure you were alright. It was natural that he should have, he doesn't know me and I could have been a threat to you."

Riley tried hard not to burst into laughter and looked down at her, "I like it when you babble. Apart from the fact it is quite funny.. it is also quite cute." He smiled and rested his head on the ground in a comfortable position, sighing happily.

Riley lifted his head and peered up at the sky, "Yes, it is.. For once.

Riley peered outside, watching a leaf fall from a tree, "I find spring nicer personally, although I do like fall as well. Not too hot and not too cold. Just right." He watched her body rise and fall absently.

Riley glanced at her then gazed outside the Great Oak and squinted his eyes, trying to work out if it was still raining.

Rilet tilted his head then nodded, "Yeah." He smiled too, "Wanna stay in here or move?"

Riley stood up, shaking his fur. He looked outside, "Next to the pond?

Riley watched her for a few moments, before turning and walking out of the Great Oak after smiling back at her. He stopped next to a willow tree, inspecting it before he was sure if was a good spot. "This ok?" He asked, turning around to face her.
