Rice is generally friendly, playful, and strives to be kind to everyone, and she is always willing to help others. She can be shy when first meeting new deer, or if she stumbles upon a large group. She is sensitive and easily intimidated, though will stand her ground if she needs to. Rice does not like to be aggressive or fight (unless playing), and if she senses another deer being aggressive toward her she will often walk off instead of retaliate.

Rice is somewhat of a loner, and can often be found exploring the forest or enjoying the peace and quiet. Despite being a bit of an introvert, she always loves meeting new deer and will almost never turn down an opportunity to play.

Rice is of slender build, and with a thick, fluffy pelt; much like a reindeer's. She has a mid-to-dark reddish-brown coat with a lighter belly, and has white spots on her rump. Her tail is long and fluffy, and often it curls at the tip. She wears a mane of bright, green leaves behind her ears and often adorns an old skull mask. Her eyes are a pale grey.

Though I consider Rice easy to read, others might not, and I'm sure some of her behaviours come off a little odd sometimes.

Rice is incredibly playful. It doesn't matter if the deer is an old friend, an acquaintance, a complete stranger, a fawn, or nameless, she'll play. If a deer plays with Rice, she will grow fond of them quickly. Although still fairly shy, Rice enjoys company and is always open cuddling and affection, and she will not hesitate to comfort a deer in distress.

Ever the pacifist, if another deer grows tired of Rice and tells her to back off or go away, she always will without a fuss, though she may be intimidated to approach them in the future. Because of her timid nature, Rice will rarely engage in aggressive activity. If another deer tries to start a fight with her, she's more likely to walk off than she is to fight back. That doesn't mean she won't stand her ground if necessary, though.

Most of the time, Rice just enjoys being lazy and watching the forest.
