Dunno about the one in my room, though. Forest is lagging a lot on that one so I haven't been using it.
Quietly a doe tredded through the countless tombstones littering the forest floor of the ruins. He ears back and her mask hiding her face.
Countless times she had come through the ruins, looking for something- or someone. Everytime she came here she had a nagging sense she was supposed to find something here- or someone.
Sighing she went towards the backside of the ruins, to a spot she rested at often.
The forest had been in an uproar lately... especially Geisha. She had witnessed Geisha's foolishness the day before, but she did not intervene. Geisha trusted Voletta to some degree, but Voletta had a feeling it was better if she let Geisha put her puzzle back together without Voletta there.
Voletta's mind traveled to Ravus... it had been three days since her mask had been found with no Ravus to wear it.
Voletta believed Ravus would come back, when she was ready.
When Voletta arrived at her spot... she felt like it was not comforting now. There was to much to think about, not enough time for comfort.
Turning around Voletta started to circle back around the ruins, she would find whatever it is she was searching for today.

YOUR TURNLOLOL
I'm just gonna pretend like this is the first time they've met. XD
~ ~ ~
Black eyes followed the restless doe's steps, unblinkingly.
Ysrael sat curled away in what she had learned was called 'the pit' of the ruins. It was supposedly a place of foreboding, but she found strange comfort in laying there, embraced by the earth on all sides. The cage was far more menacing, with it's metal and rust and cold. Her thoughts wandered, and it took her a moment to remember what she had been watching.
She stood, her attention turning again to the unfamiliar doe.
Stretching her limbs and shaking dirt from her pelt, she made a few tentative steps towards her curiosity, waiting as they circled back around. She wondered for a moment whether she should be the one to speak first, but decided against it. Let them be the one to acknowledge her, if they cared to do so. Perhaps it would be more interesting that way.
Voletta's eyelids were lowered, eyelashes almost brushing her cheeks. He steps had stopped and her ears were back. This was her favorite area... yet there was no comfort here today.
Sighing Voletta began to turn tail when a black doe caught her eye. The doe was staring at her intently, watchful and curious. Blinking Voletta raised her head a little and watched the doe.
Finally with a dip of her head, Voletta approached. The doe was black, with a white underbelly. He antlers were curled like a butterflies.
Voletta looked down at her; suddenly feeling like a giant. The does eyes instantly caught Voletta's interest, they seemed to sparkle... like stars at night.
In a voice like silk Voletta asked "Who might you be?".
"My name is Ysrael."
She scanned over the other doe with a soft curiosity, silently admiring her bright mask and curved horns. She wondered to herself what it would be like if she was adorned with such color and strength.
"But who I am is not important."
Ysrael let a moment of silence pass before speaking again.
"Your eyes are sad... why?" she asked, already guessing at what the answer would be.
Your name is one letter off from my own. <3 Good to see Yssy 'round again~ None of my characters have properly met her, but I think they'd all enjoy her company!
I'll roleplay with you, if it's alright.
---------------------------
Ensk watched 'The Ghost', his pale eyes filled with curiosity. Quietly, small spindly legs carried him close to the 'Ghost' and a small voice called out "Hello...".
The creature's dark head arced downwards, bringing the little fawn into sight. He breathed in its scent deeply, and then spoke in a voice made hoarse and soft with disuse, "Greet... ings...".
@ocean: Alissa, then? x3 People have pronounced my name that way since I was young, haha
-stalks around YOU, ohoho-
"You are looking lovely, as usual," Vodun whispered to the sleeper, careful not to wake her. He was almost glad she wasn't awake to see him. He felt... small... without his antlers. Effeminate. This way, he could enjoy her company without worry. He could take selfish advantage of her presence.

Don't worry about replying to this XD I just couldn't resist~ So happy to see Ysrael in the forest!
Okay, I'll get out of my shy bubble naow...
I this this CSS, and these characters all intrigue me beyond all belief @-@
Might a request an rp with you?
@shaku: <3!!!!
I've been making a point to come in more often. ;w; I need more of this place in my life right now~ It's always been helpful to me, for some reason.
@GingerNut:
Ah, of course you may! ;w; /has also been admiring you and your characters from afar
Ditto @__@ I went about a week without coming here a short while ago... It makes such a huge difference. Like dreamland detox. Or a little dose of heaven... kind of.
((Right O~ 8D And have a default Jergens since I can't ever decide on things ;w; ))
As winter was finally giving way to spring's overpowering dominance, the weather was caught in an endless struggle of weather. Should it be chilly? Or plesantly warm? Either way would have been nice... Jergens certainly wouldn't have cared.
Unfortunently the Gods decided to make his life miserable by making it excrutiatingly humid. Ordinarily, the massive red caribou wouldn't have minded this. On normal humid occasions he would have plopped his sorry ass down underneath the Crying Idol's tears until it blew over.
The only problem was that he was currently under the irksome process of shedding his shaggy winter coat, giving way to his typical shorter curly red fur. And while Jergens certainly wasn't the prissy type, he shivered back at the idea of laying down in a stream and having discarded hairs pool around him and cling to his new, summer pelt.
So, he settled for simply curling around his well-marked tree, which was mockingly placed behind the damp surface of the Idol (which was currently coated in curled red hairs from being rubbed against). Stray hairs littered the moss laden ground underneath and all around him, while his actual pelt looked completely uneven in terms of length and consistancy.
His face was plastered against the tree's fur-coated trunk, eyes clenched shut as even his precious butterfly mask had no mercy, for it was also given the typical shedding treatment.
Certainly a rather sad sight indeed... Care to approach?
A golden beast waded through the Idol's stream, not far from where the other was laying. He lumbered forwards, his hooves dragging deep into the silt and mud. The temperature was clearly taking a toll on this creature as well.
He stopped to hang his head under the torrent of the statue's tears and water coursed through the off-white skull fastened to his face. Moving the rest of his body under the twin falls, he shook himself vigorously for a moment before finally stepping away.
Heavy-lidded eyes within dark sockets regarded the red mound of fur nearby with curiosity, and the beast's golden neck craned upwards as he clambered the incline get a better look. He snuffled loudly to catch the red stag's scent, but otherwise made to attempt at contact - yet. He would continue to observe until he came to a decision.

@shaku: hahahahahaa yesss
I love it when things like that happen inforest, it's those kind of crazy random happenstances that you just can't replicate anywhere else that make me love this game. x3
Of course the heavy intake of air instantly gave the stranger's presence away. Jergens have been half-deaf, but by no means was he completely hard of hearing.
Twitching an ear, he lazily lifted his head to stare at the other stag with a dull sort of dazed expression, an involuntary grin curling over his lips. "Never seen yew before..." he mused, clambering to that he could sit more comfortably, a shower of moulting fur falling from his sides.
In terms of appearence, the crimson caribou didn't appear threatening despite his war-beaten body. Upon sitting up to lean against the tree's trunk in an odd, dog-like position, one could see the multitude of thin, web-like scars that overlapped and spanned across his entire underbelly, obviously old from their light pigment.
His face carried a light brown butterfly mask that looked more like a gnawed dog toy than a mask. Quite frankly it looked as if it was about to fall apart at the very seams.
Still, he carried a fairly friendly air about him. The type that carried a sort of blunt honesty. Though there was an air of a deep sort of melancholy as well.
"Like a frakin' oven, am I right?" he rambled, sighing heavily as he leaned forward to get up on all four legs, shaking himself much like a wet dog to rid himself of loose hair.
His voice was surprisingly deep considering his personality and basic mannerisms, and gritty as well, like the sound of someone's voice after they had smoked a good bit.
He shook himself once more, and offered a sort of mock bow to the stranger stag, smiling all the way.
"Name's Jergens, and don't get too close... I don't wanna share body heat with ya... no hard feelins' or anythin'"
((Ffff... I'm sorry that these are lonnnggg *-* ))
Ysrael: Whoa, late again. xD
It is. I thought it was awesome to find somebody with such a close name. <3
People pronounce my name right but spell it in a thousand different ways! xD
-stalked!- O:
The heavy-lidded eyes continued to regard the red stag carefully. Were they scrutinizing? Curious? Emotions were hard to decipher from underneath the beast's dull skull. But his posture remained relaxed and nonthreatening.
The golden stag returned Jergen's bow with a delicate curtsy, tilting his great head slightly and smiling slantwise through a gap in his mask.
"Jergens," the stag breathed, pronouncing the name like a royal title. "I have heard your name spoken before."
He stood in silence a moment more, seemingly choosing the right sentence to use next.
"I am Riet." he decided to introduce himself to this strange new interest of his, but he wasted to time explaining his identity any further. "Why do you not seek comfort in the cool water, when it is obvious you are suffering so?"
---
Apologize for longness?? Never! I should be apologizing for my shortness, haha ;_;
Jergens didn't quite know what to make of that comment. Granted, he knew as well as anyone that gossip spread through the forest like wildfire. Good and bad. And thinking about it, the crimson stag figured that he had more bad than good floating around.
Still, he liked how this fellow was talking to him, treating him like a piece of royalty. It was a nice change...
"Really? Heh..." he chuckled slightly, shaking himself so that more stray hairs could fall from his molting pelt. "Usually I try and stay under the radar round' here." he added in.
Riet. Cute name. Jergens scanned over him curiously, soft, chocolate brown eyes accented by his heavily scarred mask. "Sad to say that I ain't heard of a Riet before." he admitted, rolling back his shoulders in an easy shrug, a smile perking up at the other stag's question.
"Yew ever tried sittin' in water when yer sheddin'?" he cocked his head to the side, snorting a bit as a few red strands flew in his face. "Feels worse than bein' in the shade, I'd think."
((It's not short *-* Besides, even if it was, quality over quantity~))
ohh, I've never had someone reply to one of my vague vent bits
it's actually both of my parental units this pertains to. they think i'm into all sorts of terrible things and are threatening a school transfer and/or military recruition if i don't 'turn my life around' by the end of may. i'm kind of flummoxed as to what i should be doing to please them
Ah... I've heard that parents are more stressed with their first, and then they loosen up with the rest. Just think what a huge favor you're doing for your little sis by going first >u>
Riet chuckled, and it was a low, rich sound that shook his body in a gentle bobbing motion. "I suppose I would have to agree with that." he admitted, still smiling beneath the confines of his skull.
For a moment he wondered if he should leave this creature - Jergens, that was the name he had given - alone to his rest in the shade. But he so interested Riet, and had risen willingly to speak with him. Perhaps he would take advantage of this welcome until it ran itself out.
"The way you speak..." Riet began, unsure of how to phrase his next question. "It is unique. I have not come across another who uses the same words."
---
psh, you are too kind~ x3 ♥
And also I am slow with RP replies orz;; I tend to overthink things for awhile before finally just sitting my lazy ass down and writing them.
The caribou scanned the stag over as he laughed, curiously drinking in every detail of his physique. There was nothing malicious about his action; rather it was an ingrained force of habit from his past life. His movements were subtle, nothing more than a flick of the eyes here and there.
"Not a whole lotta deer really come up to chat like yer doin'..." he added, moving himself over a bit to a clean patch of grass untainted of fur. Granted, the new spot was no longer in the shade, but Jergens didn't care. He'd rather talk to someone new than sleep away his years. He eased himself down into a comfortable position, his legs sprawling out to his side as he motioned the skull-masked stag with a tilt of the head.
"Eh... my talk ain't that pretty, man..." he chuckled. And in a way, he was right. Adding on to his rusted tone, his accent was inconsistent. The words themselves were fluctuated, yet there was a sort of clipping quality between words. "Everyone else talked like how I did where I came from."
He left it at that, though the friendly grin was still pasted on his face. His tail thumped against the ground happily, betraying his good-natured feelings over talking to someone.
Frankly, he had been lonely.
