HOLY TWIN GODS isn't that that picture you started while you were livestreaming once? I almost didn't recognize it. God that's so amazing. The colours, the background, the haunting atmosphere everything. I love the connection to the story and how you portrayed it. And oh my god his face. That face. It's just so beautiful and haunting and unsettling all at once.
I just
just
woahhhhhh.

((do you have a dA so I can favourite the hell out of your gallery? nvm. :b ))
Yeah, it looks much better cropped! It emphasizes the action way more than it did before and makes it much more dynamic and interesting to look at.
Did you use a brush for the trees or did you paint them by yourself? Ignore me if I am too curious. :b
Also, did you happen livestream this while painting it? I really want to see your process and how you worked on this.
Trees are brushes -too lazy to draw them by hand- XD Though one day I'll have to get out of that laziness.
:/ and no I didnt. Next time I'll try and record some of it. Livestream kills my computer.(Super slow frame-rate. Bla)
And really its mostly trial and error, I can never do things right the first time so I just redline then start painting in a new layer. I usually have about 30-40 layers when Im done and I'll end up using only half for the final work. I'll screen cap some things next time and show ya
Experimenting is always the most fun part! I do the same, but usually those pictures never really end up as something worthy showing.
Thanks for your insight, very interersting. Lately I've been trying to do a sketch with some underpainting (main colours and such), and then just refine/paint over what I got, and do some experimenting with layers and such inbetween.
Also, this picture deserves more comments so I'm totally not spamming here.
You should post them up! Even if you dont feel like their good some of us might disagree
And critique from others will help better yourself!
I paint everything in black and white mostly sometimes try to color it in overlay. Not big on coloring so its layers of color textures and erasing and molding from that. Not very efficient so I wouldn't recommend it. XD
AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW~!! ♥♥
PFFFFFFF. <33333333333 OMFG. I adore the dark colours and the water, and those faces. ;__; <333
I adore everything so much, FFFF, I'm just speechless. ;@; and I agree with Unplugged. ♥
Gosh, your art is just so amazing, yknow! Ohwow. Well anyways, I fail at writing good comments. :B
But thank you so much. ,__,
